Wernstrom is a great anti-character to Farnsworth, but in the end that's what he can be reduced to a great nemesis, but I doubt he could carry an episode.
Zoidberg had some great episodes about him in the present and about his past too. Like I said in the Mom match-up, I want to know more about his and Mom's relationship for sure.

Zoidberg can carry an episode (I realise this is a controversial statement!), Wernstrom cannot (at least not without Farnsworth).

Also, I have always considered Brannigan and Zoidberg to be my two favourite characters on the show.  So Zoidberg it is.

Zoidberg, even if I think he's a bit overrated. Wernstrom isn't a particularly brilliant character, and he has little personality beyond being a foil for the Professor. At least Zoidberg's got this involved and intriguing back story. Also, claws. He has those, too.

Definitely Zoidy, for Gorky's reasons (and everybody's else reasons, but mostly Gorky's cos that's how I roll). Agreed that there's no way Wernstrom could carry an episode. I don't think Zoidy's eps are great, but they're functional.

Agreed that it's a shame to say bye bye to Wernstrom, but it's survival of the fittest, well the ugliest most disgusting, desperate and pathetic anyways...
