In what'll likely be the most interesting match-up of the semi-finals, we have fans' favorite couple, Kif and Amy, facing one another. Both got into this round easily, but who'll move on? Discuss now and the poll opens tonight at midnight!

Pfft, Amy will win this one, hands down.  Even though, I will vote against my own prediction, as I find Kif to be quite the necessity of the contrast to Zapp Brannigan.  And if I cannot have Brannigan, then I'll settle for Kif.

I agree with Svip here on both accounts. His prediction for the win of Amy but also for the necessity of Kif in the relationship with Zapp.
Zapp and Kif are just a fantastic duo on the show and while both are great on their own too, together they're fantastic.
So I will hand my vote to Kif.

Once again, people have said what I want to say before I could say it. With Zapp being such a fantastic character, how could I not vote at this stage for his wonderful sidekick? He's the Spock to Zapp's Kirk. The Data to his Picard... although Zapp's more of a cross between Riker and Wesley Crusher. But Kif definately deserves the chance to advance and face off against his captain. Then to be crushed by him.

I'm voting for Kif, for one reason: He was always an intriguing character to me in his own right, even before he and Amy started dating; Amy, meanwhile, never did much for me as a character before her relationship with Kif, which went a long way towards humanizing her. Or something.

I'm going to bet against you on this one. I think that Kif has enough of a following that he may take this one, especially since Amy isn't all that popular in terms of personality and character development.
Then again, Amy is sexy. I like risky bets, though.

Like my triplets, I think I'm going to go with Kif. I've never liked Amy much as her own character. She's always best when paired with Kif, Fry, or Leela. Kif works well paired with Amy and Zapp (and is definitely necessary to the latter) but he's also interesting on his own accord. Amy just isn't that interesting, at all.

I think Kif will take this because Amy isn't that popular compared to the other core characters and if the posts above me are anything to go by, most people seem to like Kif as much as I do.

On topic, I agree that Amy's the least popular of the main cast most likely (except maybe Hermes is a little less popular, but I like him more) and as such, Kif's win seems probable.

Amy's the most forgettable charictar in the show but she's also one of the hottest so I'll vote for her because I'm horny like a unicorn..

2 lovers battle it out.  I'll go with Amy...her "mental capacity" can be quite amusing and I think she is much funnier (I'm sure many would agree).

Everybody has testosterone.  Teensy amounts do have a most profound effect in one particular gender, though, most especially during fetal development.

Anyway, at the last second I decided to go with Amy.  I do love the interplay between Kif and Zapp but it wasn't quite enough to sway me over.  Also Amy reminds me of a few extremely superficial and self-centered people I've known over the years, who could also be unintentionally hilarious.
