Bender, hands down. Cubert has gotten better with Season 6, yes, but in the end it's still Bender who is a comic relieve when needed, but can also be a serious character, especially in interaction with Fry. And his episode with Hermes was just very well done.

This one is easy! Bender wins this one without a doubt. Particularly considering he is up against Cubert. Cubert got a lot of easy prey, but now the big folks are talking. And that's where Bender kills another human.

Are you just addressing tnuk, or is that a blanket sort of threat, BF? 'Cause I'm seriously considering voting for Cubert. Bender is a great character, true, but sometimes he's inconsistent or downright awful (*cough*"Ghost in the Machines"*cough*). Cubert has always been a pain in the ass, but he's really developed as a character in season six. I love how he was utilized in TLPJF and "Overclockwise"--and, hell, even "A Clockwork Origin." And, I don't know, I appreciate that the writers have taken the time to flesh him out. He's not as nuanced a character as Bender is, I suppose, but that's neither here nor there.
I know voting for Cubert will probably be futile, but what can I say? Bender's swell, but he's definitely irked me more at certain points than Cubert has. And that's saying a lot.

Bender. Alone for being the protagonist with the most solid storywriting in season 6....

Fry is the protagonist, not Bender.

You do not know what the word 'protagonist' means and I suggest you stop using it.

Oh..Fry always plays "the first part" in every Futurama Episode? Good to know;) (It's obvious you are just in a bad mood and do look for trouble, that's why I decided to take your comment not too serious... )

It is up to you to take it with the seriousness you wish, but that does not alter the fact that Fry, Bender and Leela are the main major characters, but only Fry is the protagonist. Playing "the first part" in every episode is not required to be a protagonist. I refer you to my earlier statement of you not understanding the difference between a 'main character' and a 'protagonist'.

I was only half-kidding about voting for Cubert over Bender; it still might happen.
Though last night I was thinking of "Godfellas," and how much I love it. And then spira mentioned "Lethal Inspection," which may be my favorite Bender-centric episode ever. (But now I'm thinking of "A Pharaoh to Remember" and "Ghost in the Machines," and I'm changing my mind yet again.) Decisions, decisions.

Yes, all people should be judged by their worst characteristic. Sure IBM has done a lot of great stuff, but they did work with the Nazis during the Second World War, so I would always vote for someone who had not worked with the Nazis if they were up against IBM.
DO YOU SEE THE FLAW IN YOUR LOGIC, GORKY? OR DO I NEED MORE NAZI COMPARISONS?!

Silly duck. You can never have too many Nazi comparisons!
The real question here is, can I vote against the character who is my avatar? That just seems too cruel.
Also, add "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" to the list of episodes where I love Bender a bunch.

Anyway, I can't see Cubert getting even a single vote. Unless it's a joke vote.
Well, stranger things have happened...

No. You can't. Especially not over Cubert, of all people.

What, that Cubert rocks? Admittedly less so in recent eps, as he was at his best in A Clone of My Own, an opinion widely regarded as fact throughout the nation...

More than likely he will get a vote or two. It always happens. Someone will vote for him just to be "different".
Yeah, or something ...
