Leela Region: #3 Robot Devil vs #6 Hattie McDoogal

In the third match-up of the Leela Region's third round, we have the Robot Devil facing off against Hattie McDoogal. Both eased their way to this round, but who'll move on here? Discuss now and the poll opens tomorrow at midnight!

The devil will stomp his cloven footcups all over Hattie's butt and pitch her into the dustbin!  He can put such a delightfully whiny edge into his voice when he wants to.

I cannot really see Beelzebot lose this one.
In fact, I think he stands quite a good chance to win this region...

Hattie. Partly because, like I've said before, I am holding a grudge against "Ghost in the Machines" and displacing my hatred for that episode to the Robot Devil. But also because Hattie is this absurd and hilarious character who should have no place in a show like Futurama but still somehow works.

In other words, a pity vote to the woman with the good-smelling cat.

Not really a fair match, since while Hattie has her fans, Robot Devil is probably the most popular non PE cast member.

I'm going to go with Hattie however, since she's one of my favorite... whatcjacallets.  Characters.

You couldn't bring yourself to vote against the Robot Devil before and I don't believe you'll vote to destroy him now.  I know you, Gorky, you'll never turn to the Dark Side!

Ghost in the Machines may have been a sub-par episode (I liked it but I get that some people didn't), but remember, like, the entirety of the Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings? Remember the good times, Gorky!

Anywway, I voted for the Robot Devil.

My contention is that one perceived negative episode should not overturn many positive ones.   I am comforted by the thought that Beelzebot has a good chance.

Aw man, 4+ days without electricity is finally over! The worst part is I (& anyone else in the Northeast) missed out on a round of the Madness! I'm going with Robot Devil here, it's an easy choice even with how great Hattie is. Devil's Hands is one of the best eps of all time and that opera scene is perhaps my favorite scene of all time.
