Leela Region: #4 Richard Nixon vs #5 Lrrr

And what may be the most hotly contested of all the match-ups this round of Fall Madness 2011, we have Nixon versus LRRR RULER OF THE PLANET OMICRON PERSEI 8! Both characters have had a combined record of 80-9 against their competitors in the first two rounds. Who'll move on here? Discuss now and the poll opens tomorrow at midnight!

WHAAAT. That is nuts.

I like both of these guys a lot, but one of the general principles I've followed is "originals over guests". I've broken that a few times, for example when voting for Nixon in his last battle, but when faced with this decision I'm going to have to say Lrrr.

They combined have less votes against than Leela has votes against.

Of the two leaders, Nixon is by far more evil.  He gets my vote.

Daaaamned....that one is really tough.
I agree that Nixon is the far more evil villain, but LRRR got the "cool, an Alien" bonus.
(Besides, "I AM LRRR, RULER OF PLANET OMICRON PERSEI 8" makes a more impressive and hilarious announcement tha a simple "AROOOOO...". But the voice acting on Nixon is just so great...)
Damned again, I will have to flip a coin. (But whoever loses..his Universe 1 conterpart will win, so no need to be sad )

Nixon. Everything about him in the show is more interesting, clever, funny and generally more 'crazy'. And I respect that.

Lrrr. Both characters have been used well, and are among the most hilarious tertiary characters on the show. But, if I do an episode-by-episode comparison of Nixon-heavy episodes to Lrrr-heavy episodes, the latter are consistently more enjoyable to me. So that's that.

The latent US History dork in me made me pick Nixon. Aroo.
It was a difficult decision, but I think that Nixon makes me laugh a bit more consistently.

I went with Nixon, I enjoy him more overall. As much as I loved the episode Lrrreconcilable  Ndndifferences it just kinda killed the character of Lrrr for me. I dunno, something happened to him, and therefore Nixon overtakes him slightly. Slightly.

Nixon's probably more amusing than Lrrr overall.  But I voted for him because he's Morbo's good friend.

This was a tough decision but I went with Nixon because he makes me laugh more in his appearances than Lrrr does in his.

I like them both but went with Lrrr.  He does display a little "humanity" sometimes, unlike the purely amoral head of Nixon.  Though there is something to be said about consistency, though.
