Fry Region: #3 Nibbler vs #6 Morbo

In the third Fry Region Quarterfinal match-up, we have Nibbler against Morbo. Nibbler got to the quarters very easily, getting past the newcomer Unattractive Giant Monster and classic Yancy Fry, Jr. Morbo has had a combined one vote against him, shutting out Anglelyne and narrowly shutting out Mr. Panucci. Ooh, kind of a hard one. I think I shall vote for Morbo, who has been nothing but hilarious. I am not so much a fan of Nibbler's new role among the crew (though I realize that the mind blanking would have gotten old fast), but he does have a very important role in the series and is an interesting character.

I'm going to vote for Nibbler because, while I find Morbo funnier, Nibbler is a much more important part of the Futurama Universe.

Morbo has a great schtick, but his character can't compare with the complexity of Nibbler, not to mention Nibb's importance to the plot.

Nibbler has never been as great as he was after everyone knew that he could talk and is a highly intelligent being (however he never still lets everyone know that Fry saved the Earth twice... what a douche).
Morbo for me.

Morbo. Nibbler lost some of his appeal for me post-BBS, what with the severely underplayed reaction to the reveal that he's a super-intelligent being. Also, Morbo is funnier. Nibbler is more relevant to the series as a whole, I suppose, but that doesn't mean I don't find the little bugger less-than-cute, and more-than-annoying.

Difficult...with Nibbler's role expanded (making it more difficult), Morbo is at an advantage of delivering the same working, but repeating running gag.
I might well flip a coin...I like Morbo, but Nibbler's contrast as the "cute little bugger" that on the other hand has this booming, dignified voice is just too hilarious...

Though the arguments seem one-sided for Morbo, I think this was the toughest choice for me yet.  While I love Nibbler as a character (and haven't seen 6B yet, so don't really understand the "now-he-speaks" bashing), I do get more enjoyment out of Morbo's time on-screen.  Then I thought, "Well, Nibbler is a main part of my favorite episode."  Then I thought, "MY VOTE DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!"

Me neither, so I put it on my waterbottle. Other exciting places to affix such a sticker include other people's cars (with or without their permission), pretty much anything that moves, and your forehead.
