I'm going with Bubblegum, I guess because his most prominent appearance happens to be in one of my all-time favorite episodes. Also, Old Man Waterfall is probably one of the weaker members of that particular ill-fated family.

Bubblegum Tate on the grounds that he's one of the best secondary characters that the show has produced and Old Man Waterfall is a one-note, annoying joke stretched out for 20 minutes in an episode that isn't particularly great.

I went with Bubblegum Tate for the same reasons that have already been stated: The absurdity of Globetrotter scientists and everything that happens in Time Keeps on Slippin' (especially Bender and Bubblegum's interactions).

It's not teriffically absurd. Many of the skills for playing basketball have some inherant mathematical parallels. The Critical Dunk Angle would never have been theorised by a non-basketballer, for example.
