This is yet another poll where I'll be voting for a character based on the fact that they're a main character. Nothing against Warden Vogel, He's just not a good enough character to beat any of Planet Express characters.

I do enjoy Vogel quite a bit, but Hermes is the more nuanced character (if not necessarily the more amusing), and I agree with Jezzem that it would be pretty hard for a tertiary character to beat out a member of the PE crew. I don't love Hermes, but he's definitely more important to the show than Vogel is, and that's reason enough to vote for that cuddly Jamaican.

Warden Vogel isn't a bad character at all, but he's definitely not good or important enough to beat Hermes.
And seeing Hermes in the episode "Lethal Inspection" teaming up with Bender was a very interesting twist to the character and made him seem much kinder than often before.

Vogel was all right, but not really an outstanding  character.
So Hermes gets my vote...

I really like Hermes and as I said in the last round, I think he has a lot of untapped potential that they just, now, seem to be starting to dig into, whereas Warden Vogel seems fairly played out to me. They can keep giving him roles, but if I never see him again, it won't upset me.

I've never been a huge fan of Hermes, but over a bit player, this was an easy choice.

Also, we're talkin' about lots of things.

Agreed that Hermes is substantially more important. Vogel is a great tertiary character ("you're worthless and no one will ever love you") but Hermes has always been fun and his episodes have been among the better - HRHGB, Lethal Inspection, maybe some others...?

This is pretty much exactly what I was gonna say. Also, I feel kind of a connection with Hermes 'cause I love math too, and relaxing in the traditional Jamaican way- with a warm glass of milk

I like Vogel, but he's obviously not as important as Hermes.
Also, I've always loved Hermes. Any character that eats a calculator to gain its power wins my vote.
