mArc fixed the polls so that if anyone's in danger of a decisive win, several of his/her votes "disappears" to elevate tension.

It is a pity that people can see the totals before they vote, if they couldn't those who vote to create a tie "just to make it interesting" wouldn't know the count before hand.

Not so fast.

The other polls all stayed open for about  a week. So that's at least 3 more days. Give people plenty of time to vote. They better do it fast though.

IMO, the nomniation thread should also have stayed open longer.

It certainly won't get closed just yet.

The nominations page was open a fair time and was filling with spam, one page didn't contain a single nomination as I recall

It would eliminate the purpose of polls. No one would know the results or current standings.

• October '01 (tied for 2nd)
• November '01 (tied for 5th)
• January '02 (tied for 6th)
• March '02 (tied for 6th)
• May '02 (tied for 3rd)
• July '02 (finished 2nd)
• August '02 (tied for 1st, lost to Tweek in the rematch)
• September '02 (No data, but probably finished 2nd)
• October '02 (current ranked 1st)

Wow, from the look of it you've been in all POTM polls, except June '02 (December '01 and February '02 doesn't exist), that's gotta be a record.

What I can make of this is that there are 4 levels of posters in this poll. Those who get 14 votes, those who get 5 votes, those who get 3 votes and those who had to vote for themselves to avoid looking like a bummer.
