Because she deserves to win more than any of the others. All of you more recent additions to PEEL should just realise this and stop piling on the protest votes for whichever individual may be posing as competition, month after month after month...

Actually Ben, I voted for Aleel, despite the fact she probably won't win this month.  I'm voting for Lee because I like her, not to try and kill somebody else's chances.

And I wasn't complaining about Ninaka receiving so many votes, I was just wondering why she was largely snubbed during the nominations before leading the final poll.

What point?  I've looked back through this thread, and it's not exactly full of people saying "I hate Ninaka, let's vote ZJ!"

Is it just possible that people are voting for the people they want to vote for, and that ZJ happens to be popular with other PEELers?

Also, there's the consept of nominating three and vote for only one of them. Maybe there's a lot who had Aleel (and Nurdbot) as their number 2 or number 3 nominee? 13 nominations doesn't necessarily mean you'll win the poll!

I got an idea. Let 's all vote for X, and then we can all vote for Y the next month! That way, person X won't have to be nervous about wheteher he/she will win, and he/she will never have to worry about a POTM poll again.

I think the problem with the nominations was that it didn't operate as it should have. (I haven't double checked this so I might be wrong). Isn't it meant to stay open for at least a week, giving people like me with a life who can't get here everyday a chance to make their nominations and not get closed before getting to it? Yeah well, it happened (again) and I didn't even get a nominate... I'm sure I'm not the only one. Maybe that's why I didn't have many nominations (hahah RIGHT *gag*)
Nevertheless, I'm shocked I'm leading by one vote. I could be really annoying and vote for ZJ to make a tie just so I can try again for next friggin month  But then I'd be basking in this so-called popularity for too long.

So I really don't know why I haven't won in all this time, and I dont' really care that much. I think it's nice to be a little different and cool to be pitied even a small amount because of it. Good luck to the better PEELer I say!

Durr Ninaka.... who in their right mind doesn't know that GM stands for GoulishMoose. It's basically a fundmental pillar of popular culture nowadays, apparently.

Yeah, basically you have to be a 'Friendly-friendly' to get in, and preferably European/British. Having a sense of humour that transcends that of a 3 year-old brick will definitely hurt your chances of admission. Oh, and you have to act as if PEEL never existed before you and your fellow club members joined.
