Even if you do there's a link under Preferences that will erase all cookies from PEEL when you click it.
Conviniently it's called "Click here to delete all cookies set by this forum!"

There won't be any private messaging system inplemented into peel. First off it would be by far too much work to add another database to store these, then linking them to the people's profiles and make them accessable with the password protection/cookie system. Then webpages and cgi scripts would be needed to access that all. 2nd: it would take up by far too much bandwidth and webspace, since it all has to be stored. 3rd: there are many systems that can do that job perfectly. Such as AIM, ICQ, MSN messanger, YAHOO messanger, IRC and last but not least e-mail. Originally posted by Teral: Email. Use it. May I add to that: "Dictionary. Use it."

I use Internet Explorer on Windows, and sometimes I load a page and it comes out as HTML. I'd say don't bother, likely just PEEL being PEEL.

Hmm, for me it only takes about five seconds. Although sometimes it's taken longer. My machine's not the fastest.

Qvestion - when I use the direct link after posting (if your browser does not automagically forward you.. blah) because it's taking too long, it doesn't show my post - double posted a couple of times cos of it - is this a known thang? I come up as the last poster in the forum overview but it doesn't show up in the thread for a while, at least not for me - don't know if it's viewable by others.
I seem to remember an issue relating to this a while back, but I can't find the relevant post so forgive me if this is just a reiteration of what someone else has already said.

Ta for clearing that up Was just wondering if it was a known issue or not. It might just be my browser, but it really is taking about 5 mins to forward by itself, hence the link-clicky If I leave it to its own devices the last post shows up fine.

I find that if a post doesn't show up, the best way to go is to do something else for a couple of minutes.
