in my opinion jurassic bark was the most moving episode...both me and my wife just sat there afterwords with this sad look on our faces.  the image of the poor dog just sitting there waiting for fry still affects me

I really was much more moved at Luck of the Fryish than at Jurassic Bark-- although I have cried at both. No matter how many times I watch them, I'm wiping away tears at the end...

I think part of the reason I don't think Jurassic Bark is the saddest is because the transition from the present (future, I guess) to the final flashback seemed really abrupt and it took me a little while to really settle down and understand what was going on, and by then the emotional impact was sort of over. It was a good episode, though.

Am I the only one who's touched by Fry who got stung to protect Leela in "the sting"?

Also I cried with laughter at "the deep south" but I gues it doesn't count!

Jurrasic Bark was on his morning. Lump in the throat kind of episode. I thought that Luck of the Fryish was moving, but not nescessarily sad.

Leela's Homeworld was good, particularly at the end. The music helped to heighten the sadness, I reckon. Also, I think the final episode, The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings' will be a tearjerker, but for a different reason.

But then I cry at everything. Dead Like Me, Cancer adverts, The Muppets...
(hence the Prozac)

The noly episode that made me genuinely sad was "Jurrasic Bark", I did actually cry a little of sadness at the ending.

The Luck of the Fryrish made me cry, but the end of Time Keeps on Slippin' was really sad as well! As well as that, the end of Parasites Lost, when Fry tries to learn to play the something-o-scope for Leela after he's lost the parasites is pretty sad.  :(

Being an Aussie, I haven't seen Jurassic Bark or Leela's Homeworld yet (I just have to save up for the $80 DVD).

1. The sting
2. Jurrasic bark
3. Luck of the fryish
4. Parasites lost

This sting was cute cuz fry was acting smart and nice, and really leela got stung, and fry stayed there.

Jurassic bark, so sad! at the end fry though his dog wouldnt remember him, but in the flash back the dog was waiting there, his whole life!! aww!!

there rest were my least fav.
I did not like the ep. "why must i be a crustacion i love" that one was dumb

I live in Perth, and we haven't got any of Season 4 yet (damn Channel 7!!!) but I think they're showing it when ratings begin again at some obscenely late timelot. Can't wait for those eps though.  ;)

So many emotional episodes... and all of them have been said. The best ones for me are Luck Of The Fryrish, Jurassic Bark, Love Aand Rocket, The Sting and Leelas Homeworld.

Jurassic Bark for me had a huge emotional impact. I was staying at my boyfriend's house, and as I was very upset (because my best friend Purdy, my beautiful german shepherd had died suddenly a few days before of cancer at the young age of 5) he decided to put on some Futurama to cheer me up...big mistake!

I was inconsolable after watching that, it was the saddest thing I have ever seen on TV, fair enough, it got me at a vunerable time, but I watched it yesterday (first time since that first viewing) and it had almost the same impact.

Jurassic Bark: certainly a lump in the throat -kind of an episode, a real tearjerker.

Sting was a very beautiful beautiful episode, I still remember when I saw that for the first time - really touching. The same applies to The Luck of the Fryrish. Love them both in a happy way.

leela's Homeworld: for some reason it didn't move me too much. The problem must be in me, wait a sec, I'll go upstairs to watch the episode again...

The Luck of the Fryrish was the only one which really moved me, probably because i wasn't expecting it to be sad at all. It still remains the only show/movie i've ever cried during (except the lion king when i was five).

I found The Luck of the Fryrish to be the saddest one; as soon as Yancy's wife said she new what name he wanted to give his son, that was the moment the 'ol lump in the throat surfaced.

Jurassic Bark was sad but only the second time I watched or thereafter. The first time I saw this episode I was totally amazed when Fry smashed the cloning machine up. I didn't expect that at all! I was in shock more or less - you don't get good twists on the storyline like that much in TV shows, its like killing of the lead character at the end.

Before TDHAIPT, Leela's Homeworld was the episode that put a tear to my eye and it was my most touching tearjerker.  I just loved the song, "Baby Love Child" it was the first time they play it.  I also like Luck of the Fryish, with the use of the song by Simple Minds. I thought it was very touching, but the most touching tearjerker for me now, was the last scene if the last episode.

I love the instrumental music they played at the end of TDHAIP. Fry on the holophoner and the image of Fry and Leela kissing and walking away. The music sounded like angels singing. I had a tear in my eye and applauded saying, "Nice going, Fry. Best a luck to you."

1st post for me!
I didn't cry, but I was moved by Bender hanging the picture that the kids "drawed" for him at the end of Cyber House Rules.

I got emotional in a lot of episodes of Futurama.  Some of them are:

-Luck of the Fryish: At the end when he flashed back to Yancy and his Wife.

-Jurrasic Bark: At the end when they showed Seymore waiting for Fry to come back.

-Time Keep's On Slippin': When Fry see's what he wrote with the stars.

-The Sting: At the end when Leela is sitting on the bed with Fry's picture.

-The Why of Fry: Practically through the whole episode.  I don't know why, but I did...

For some odd reason I forgot about that moment, when Leela is sitting on her bed with Fry's picture.

yeah, the sad ones are "The Luck of the Fryish" and "Jurassic Bark"

"Jurassic Bark"...... so sad! so sad!

In "Time Keeps on Slipping" it's pretty sad when the credits start with Bender whistling The Globetrotter music. poor Bender

"Jurassic Bark" is the saddest though.

"Time Keeps on Slipping" isn't as touching as it is dark. But, I think that's what makes it so memorable. You feel so sorry for Fry and Bender, but you still can't help but enjoy the episode.

Jurassic Bark. Afterwards I had to hug my dog. That music... so old fashioned, but it blindsided me like an idiot skeg. There was no defense! None!

Also, agreed, the music at the end of Devils Hands. So pretty... so sad...

I know, the song from "Jurassic Bark" gets me every time.

The music at the end of TDHAIP was stuck in my head for days after the episode aired.

I'm going to join the majority and say Jurassic Bark. The only thing that made me cry more was My Girl, which happens to hold the title of saddest movie ever. Mind you, it wasn't far behind, I'm a sap.
