No you're not the only one, elkie. And this only proves what a wonderful and full of life show Futurama is. And on the other hand it shows that we (the people here) aren't deprived of all human emotions... //Sorry for the offtopic

TOTPD!! (for the first time on PEEL)

I cried at most of the classics like the sting TLOTF and TKOS. jurassic bark had me bawling!  two others I cried at were parasites lost at the end with the music and everything and ,for some reason, the "though my eyes" bit in TSHL.  go ahead, laugh.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but the strenght of emotions in Futurama is so high, that when I was listening to the soundtrack and heard the music from various sad moments (ie. Jurrasic Bark and Luck of Fryish) I felt very, very sad...
Now if you'll excuse me

Everyone (my brother, sister and I) all cried when we watched Jurassic Bark. Poor poor Seymour. On the other hand, the ending to The Luck of the Fryrish brought tears to my eyes, but my brother reckons that it was a stupid ending. The Sting also brought tears to my eyes when I thought of how Leela nearly gave up living. In TKOS Fry's scream and Bender's subsequent whistling is just so funny that I didn't cry at this one.

Jurassic Bark was sad for me. My dog had just recently passed away.. I had him for like 12 years, and then I saw that.. made me think he would wait for me.  :(..

Oh man, I cried like a baby while watching Jurassic Bark... the music and everything got to me. I got teary-eyed at The Luck of the Fryrish, and The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings always gets me teary-eyed too... happy teary-eyedness 'cause it's so sweet, and plus I always get really really depressed after seeing it because the only thing I can think of is, "It's over! It's over!"

I gotta say, EVERYBODY was sad during their first time watching The Sting. I usually don't cry during cartoons, but this was one of the saddest moments I've ever seen on a cartoon. And, of course, knowing that TDHAIP was the last episode(for now...<evil laugh> ) made me cry too.

Yeh The Sting is one that put a tear into my eye... Just wake up got to me the that episode. The devils hands are idle playthings is another, mostly because it was the last episode but the music is very emotive too.

You know what puts a tear or two in my eye. When I watch all 72 shows in a row with only minor breaks of food and bathroom breaks. Although ususally it's tears mixed with blood because my eyes hate looking at bright objects that long.

the only times i have ever wanted to cry over anything in an animated series were right at the end of jurrasic bark (i got a dog!) and the end of the sting (best episode ever!) and i agree with ginger kid, the devils hands are idle play things had a great emotive music!

I cried at the end of time keeps on slipping (when Fry's "I love you, leela" message was sucked into a black hole), On The luck of the Fryish, and the end of the credits of the last episode. (I dodn't want the series to be over)

the sting was definetly one of the top 3 futurama episodes. infact id say my list is exactly the same as future_freeaak's, but add on one at the end "the devils hands are idle playthings", that bit at the end chocked me up good and proper

As I said before, normally I never cry, (especially not on tv-shows) but futurama has the power to do this to me ...    :)

This is a quote from page one but Love & Rocket always makes me shiver when Leela screams: "Breathe, Fry, Breathe". The music is a big part of the thing as well. Thanks alot, Chris Tyng.

When I saw those episodes(my top 3),i though it was just too good. Then I go to sleep thinking about them! I think this has been said before but thats one great thing about futurama becuase I think they have comedy, drama, adventure, romance and sadness. Its a little bit of everything. They know how to tie it all together to make one great show!

1. The sting because i had a lump in my throat the whole way.

2. Jurrasic bark because of That poor f***ing dog at the end and when bender chucks him in the lava is the only time ive ever hated bender

3. The devils hands are idle playthings(last episode of futurama)

All made me cry. You know know that i think about it some of the best episodes are the ones that moved me.

The Sting pretty much gets me every time.  It's easily my favorite episode and I will admit to crying at the end of it many many times.  Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryrish also have caused me to shed a tear.  Gee, and I wasn't even high most of those times either.  The ability to evoke powerful emotions, laughter and crying is what makes Futurama such a great show.

Jurrassic Bark, and the Luck of the Fryish were the only episodes that have ever made me have to choke back some tears. In Jurrasic Bark the ending was so sad Seymour was sitting there waiting for Fry to return, until he died. And in Luck of the Fryish when Yancy named his son"I'm naming you Philip J.Fry,in honor of my little brother, who I miss every day,I love you Philip."That what so sad.

Before I joined this site, I thought there was something wrong with me due to the fact that the only time I cried to a fictional event was at the end of Jurassic Bark, but now I feel a lot more comfortable with that

I may be a plain pussy, Capt. Zapp, Sir, (*ohhhh* says Kif) but the songs at the end of "Leela's Homeworld" ("Baby Love Child" by the Pizzicato 5) and "Jurassic Bark" ("I Will Wait for You" from _Umbrellas of Cherbourg_) are perfect for underscoring the heartwarming/heartrending stories that preceded them.  Those songs get me all the time.
