That was a pretty close vote. Not very many people vote either. I do not think this poll means crap. No one is barely voting, your not going to get results like this.

Went with Parasites Lost. You are right the poll isn't representative but I like the way one can update one's beliefs on the best episode.

Are we ever moving on to the number four slot episode?

Sorry, I am at a job conference and can't get to the internet all that well.  Also, sometimes leaving the poll up for a longer period encourages more votes.  I will close the poll tomorrow and start the discussion for the fourth best episode at that point.

I agree with you that I am not getting the number of votes I would like to get....but I have to work with what I have.  However, if you have any suggestions for me to make this better, I am open to suggestions.

Its not a bad number though either, just keep at it, they will come. At least we are getting a general ballpark answer.

ok....time to close the poll.  After 20 votes, the winner for the 3rd best Futurama episode of all time is:
The Sting with 9 votes (45%).
Parasites Lost had 5 votes (25%)
The Late Phillip J Fry had 4 votes (20%)
The Farnsworth Parabox had 2 votes (10%)
How Hermes Requisitioned His Grove Back had 0 votes (0%)

So to recap, voted the best Futurama episode of all time: Roswell that Ends Well
The 2nd best Futurama episode of all time: The Luck of the Fryrish
The 3rd best Futurama episode of all time: The Sting

Now it is time to state your vote for the 4th best Futurama episode of all time (with Roswell that Ends Well, The Luck of the Fryrish, and The Sting obviously being out of vote consideration).

Remember (again), if you want your choice of episode in the poll, you need to state your opinion...especially if it is not normally considered a top 10-15 episode.

Whoops.  Thanks for the catch.  I guess I can address that to my Engineering English skills.  You know, "I are an engineer."

Good thing I have spell check...lol

My vote for the 4th best Futurama episode is "The Late Philip J. Fry". I suggest adding "A Flight To Remember" on the new poll list!

ok...even though there were not a whole lot of votes in the nomination stage (shrugs head), I am getting a poll together anyway since I will be out of town this weekend/early next week and the internet won't be all that great...this will hopefully allow time for the votes on the poll to add up.

Enjoy!

EDIT: Getting more votes, but still only 13 at the moment.  Right now there is a tie (with 5) for TLPJF and The Farnsworth Parabox.  Keep them coming.

ok...sorry for the extended time; it doesn't look like we are going to get any more votes for this round so I am just going to call it.  This round was a really close one.

After 17 votes, the winner for the 4th best Futurama episode of all time is:
The Late Philip J Fry with 8 votes (47.1%).
The Farnsworth Parabox had 6 votes (35.3%)
Parasites Lost had 3 votes (17.6%)
A Flight to Remember had 0 votes (0%)

So to recap, voted the best Futurama episode of all time: Roswell that Ends Well
The 2nd best Futurama episode of all time: The Luck of the Fryrish
The 3rd best Futurama episode of all time: The Sting
The 4th best Futurama episode of all time: The Late Philip J Fry

Now it is time to state your vote for the 5th best Futurama episode of all time (with Roswell that Ends Well, The Luck of the Fryrish, The Sting, and The Late Philip J Fry obviously being out of vote consideration).

Remember (again), if you want your choice of episode in the poll, you need to state your opinion...especially if it is not normally considered a top 10-15 episode.

Well, I think "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" might get a few votes for 5th best Futurama episode so I think that would be a good one on the poll.

Technical nit-pick (the best kind of nit-pick)

This is the poll for the fifth best episode all-time, not the fourth.
