As for today's update: this is the head-licking episode, right? I'm pretty pumped for this one, simply because it sounds so...different.

According to that MSN post a few days ago, 606 is Leathal Inspection, where Bender finds out about some kind of mortal manufacturing defect. For the life of me, I can't see how a Civil War Scruffy would fit into that kind of plot.

I have a hunch that MSN might have gotten 606 wrong, and that it's really the head trip episode. It'd fit much better; someone could lick Lincoln and go on a Civil War trip, which would explain Scruffy's garb. And considering that the writers are obsessed with Lincoln (according to one of the commentaries), it'd just make more sense.

Well, whether we see Scruffy like that in some sort of head trip, odd reenactment, or something else entirely, it seems like it'll be pretty cool... "What fevered dream is this that bids to tear this country in twain?"
