I have the Best Buy bonus DVD AND the knowledge on how to distribute it to others (in various formats; I haven't looked at the DVD yet to see what the content is like).
What's the legality on discussing something like that here?

Well, in that case, Nixorbo... No, I certainly did "not" make a high quality 30mb clip of the preview for Beast With a Billion Backs from the Best Buy DVD. ..and.. No, I'm "not" willing to share it to the people here who did not get the 'special' version. ..and.. No, I can't be found with a fserve in the chatroom. [EDIT: No, really, I can't be found in the chatroom because my address is auto-banned *.res.rr.com // nick is Asrial if someone wants to help me out] [EDIT 2: ftp://76.185.147.67:21 (my server)]

That scene got a real belly laugh from me, something that BBS didn't do. The wife-person looked at me as I was laughing as Zapp was hosing Amy's breasts, made a disgusted face and said, " YOU'RE A PIG!" Like I said, more Zapp and less touchy-feely romance crap. Ralph, I also noticed a lack of Leela, but I'm sure you would agree that it would be almost impossible for them to go a whole 80 minutes without some kind of meaningful treatment of the Fry+Leela 'ship. Fry still living in Bender's apartment makes it pretty obvious that they don't tie the knot, but before it came out who knew Big Score would end up being so heavily dedicated to Fry+Leela? I have a feeling from the Comic-Con comic that this movie (BWaBB) will be very Fry-heavy, and the next movie will be very Leela-heavy (despite the name 'Bender's Game') and the blow-off will be the last movie... --- WARNING - ANTI-SHIPPER COMMENTS AHEAD--- ...unless the sales and rating are good enough for a renewal of the series or more DVD's. The source that I Had from RDS last year has been pretty spot-on about a lot of things, and has stated that the ending of the Fry/Leela relationship is being saved for the very last episode/DVD. People just don't get where I'm coming from with the Leela/Fry thing. Fry's continuing pursuit of Leela makes him look weak and like a complete loser. The occasional bone of affection that Leela gives him is nothing more than her way of encouraging his pursuit. He looks weak and pathetic and she looks like a manipulative bitch. Friendship with Leela? Bullshit. He's a 'safe-guy' to have there when nobody else is around to give her compliments and have lunch/coffee and to totally disregard, sometimes very cruelly, when she has 'somebody special' ("I'm dating Chaz, he's very important" ) in her life. Enough with the 'ship-shit'. The damned thing with them getting closer at the end of an episode and going back to nothing at the beginning of the next episode is just overplayed. I could care less if my opinion pisses people off. I hope it does. Anything to break this monotonous, predictable story arc of 'the ship'. So gimme more of the humor and geekery that makes Futurama great, not some 'on-ship' at the end of an episode and 'off-ship' at the beginning of the next episode. Either hook them up or let the damned thing die a merciful death. Hard to believe that I was once a huge Leela fan. Now I can barely stand her.

I'm neutral towards the shipping stuff, really. ^^ I'm neither for it, nor against it. To be honest, I rather like how the series has things currently. Fry chasing after Leela and her not liking him just yet, in my opinion, I think this adds something special and interesting to the show. But, if they do have Leela get together with Fry finally, that would be nice. I wouldn't hate it or anything like that. However, at that point, I'd be worried that Fry and Leela getting together would bring too much romance into the series. And I don't want that to happen. I like the way the series is now, and I don't want it to change. And for speculation purposes, I'll just bring my post from the news thread here. But I'm confused though. Why was Fry acting so strange? O.O
Then again, isn't he supposed to get possessed by some alien in the second movie?
I'm guessing the Octopus alien that had 5 boyfriends has somehow possessed him and took control over his mind.
Aww, I don't like the idea of a possessed-Fry (since he would obviously, be very out of character). I bet that alien makes him do all kinds of things he normally would never do!
Aww, poor Fry. I hope he's gonna be okay.
And for that matter, I also hope both Earth and the Universe will be okay too. (isn't Fry supposed to be special to the Universe or something, like in "The Why of Fry"? Uh oh! I'm getting a very bad feeling about the second movie! Things aren't looking good for the fate of the Universe!)

Or was he possessed by that weird looking, Octopus thing with tentacles (from the other universe)?
I think that could be what's making Fry do all that weird stuff. Yeah, I was confused about the thing with Fry acting all weird in the trailer to the second movie. Though, I read in someone's post in this thread that, BWABB will be about the monster with tentacles having a romance and/or relationship with everyone on Earth. (wow, that sounds weird!) So yeah, I guess that answers my question about what's going on with Fry, lol. ^^; But I do wonder how Fry's gonna get everyone out of this mess. I'd love it if they had him save the day somehow. Hmm, maybe the last scene in the trailer, with Fry supposedly bringing all the people up to heaven has something to do with that. I don't know.... Anyway, I like it when Fry's the hero, that's why "The Why of Fry" is my favorite episode of Futurama. ^_^

Friendship with Leela? Bullshit. I'm inclined to completely agree with this (or, well, your whole post in general there, but this part in particular). I find it incredibly frustrating how both Fry and Leela are portrayed throughout this mess - it's given way to some fantastic episodes but it really has been dragged on too long and simply makes me dislike Leela further/wish Fry would get over it already. Which is a big part of why I'm looking forward so much to the next movie, since according to the animatic scenes, it looks a lot heavier on Fry and Bender's friendship than Fry pursuing Leela, which I've really always preferred - their friendship is one of the highlights of the show for me. And the last bit of the animatic is indeed fantastic. Can't wait to see how that plays out in colour and in context.
