Is 7 Faith No More - What's it called?  Introduce Yourself?

Edit: What's with this "bands Mike Patton was in, even if he wasn't in them at the time" thing?

And evan, this is The Darkness:

Yeah, I'd considered doing a thematically linked AC Quiz (I still may) with an extra point for guessing the link.

Anyways, No.7 was correct, of course it's FNM's "Introduce Yourself".

Throw in some Tomahawk, Fantomas/Melvins big band, Dillinger Escape Plan, man, Mike's been in a lot of bands.  Now why does #11 seem so familiar?

Is 3) in any way a reference to the Beatles' infamous "butcher cover"?

I can tell you authoritatively as a YYYs fan that it definitely isn't.

I was thinking along the lines of Peaches or Ladytron, am I in the right ballpark there, Melll?

Oh, and i'm sure you've mentioned 10 to me before, it's just a case of me un-swiss-cheesing my mind to remember...

10: Rocket From the Crypt - Scream, Dracula, Scream, Interscope, 1995.

I knew that "major label debut" hint was ringing a bell somewhere.
