I know, but punk, hardcore, emo-core, industrial, industrial metal, noisecore, metal, and rock are all basically the same thing. I mean I like that sort of music, but I dont know much about it. Indie albums would be nice, maybe folk, some of the less obscure stuff. And I know that Depeche Mode, etc. aren't that kind of music, but the majority are. Shame....

I've posted loads and loads of different genres, check the last thread. There's only one way to contribute to the covers quiz. Win one.

Have you even read the last thread? There were loads of different ones posted (do I stutter?).
There are other ways to get in on the quiz, if you read through this thread (or the other) you'll figure out how.

People have different tastes, someone will eventually post some that you know. Patience, most of us haven't had a go yet!
(btw, this stuff isn't obscure. At least you could find most of it in a high-street shop!)

You'll eventually get a go, everyone will. Sooner or later someone passes (Otis might, yet).
So, I suggest getting 10/12 of your own ready, to post in case someone does pass. If your tastes are so radically different.
We've had some tough quizzes in the past, but we've got through them, via clues, and good hard thinking.

See this post from page 2 of this thread: Originally posted by SamuelXDiamond: Tikka: You don't need a scanner, just grab the covers off of Amazon, or the band's discography on their official website (which it's more than likely that they'll have). Plus, there's always Google.
Then, edit the covers with whatever image program floats your boat (there's plenty of free ones which will do such simple stuff as this) to remove text and re-size them to uniformity. You're free after that to upload your choices to your webspace. Don't have webspace? Get some webspace!

Cheers, Otis. Let's try to keep this to the quiz. I'll say one more thing on this, before I wind my neck in. Originally posted by Love_For_Leela: I know, but punk, hardcore, emo-core, industrial, industrial metal, noisecore, metal, and rock are all basically the same thing. Since when is Bill Hicks, Depeche Mode, Black Box Recorder, Air, The Chemical Brothers and Chris Morris part of that genre of music? If you'd read the first two posts of this thread (nay, the first three pages), you would have seen that the above were only Jon's choices, and there'd have been little need to bitch about the content of this thread, if you'd paid any attention to it. If you're gonna complain, do your homework!
