That and the beerbot could be completely coincidental, but you sure have to wonder if these guys didn't watch a little Futurama. Neither of them bother me; both are actually kinda cool, so I wouldn't call them ripoffs.

I was looking at the "royalty" category on Uncyclopedia today and one of the articles was Philip J. Fry, who was apparently king of France-Scotland. XD

Last night my family were mucking about on a kareoke (sp?) machine and my dad chose to do a medly which just selected random bits of random songs. In the middle of it he had to sing the exact part Kif sang in AWITM of 'total eclipse of the heart.' He seemed to sing it just like Kif too (a bit nervous and a few notes out). I burst out laughing and my family (who don't like/watch the show) all looked at me funny. LOL

ps. - i'm a starship captain! New rank/New year!!! WOOO!

I was watching Spicks and Specks just 5 minutes ago. Damien Leith was singing the words to a song by U2 (Can't remember what-Sorry! )and no-one on the panels knew. A girl in the audience knew what song it was, and her name was LEELA! I nearly EXPLODED!! [lol]LOL[/lol]

It was so funny. There's a fair in the park near my house. Like every year it's here for the Easter holz. Me and my mate were sat on a ride, waiting for it to fill up so it could start (which took about 1/2 hour btw ) So as we were sat, music was blaring. It was all quite old and i didn't recognise most of it. A song came on and i thought i recognised it and it turned out to be a slower tempo version of the karaoke Zapp sung in AWINTM. Then it started slowly singing the words (by now i was in fits of excitement ) then i was about to shout "LEELA L E E L A LEELA" (it was really loud so shouting is the equivelent to whispering) but then the song went "LOLA L O L A LOLA" so i felt like an idiot. But oh well

They're thinking of building a theme park in Roswell, NM. And all I can think is "I hope they put Zoidberg in there somewhere."

(Incidentally, wasn't there an unrelated, rumored Futurama simulation ride in the works, or is that something my brain randomly conjured one day?)

Paz, my friend, I think y’ got that a wee bit backwards...
The title “Parasites Lost” is supposed to be a pun on the classical epic-poem, titled “Paradise Lost,” written by John Milton sometime in the 1650’s.
A cursory search of IMDb shows a dozen or so movies named “Paradise Lost,” so It’s hardly surprising you found one.

In case any one cares they were made in 1911, 1970, 1974, 1994, 1999, 2003, 2006, 2007, and one scheduled for 2009.

GAWD! I am such a geek!
