Welcome to PEEL Clive!  :)

I've managed to get the table read now.  Try pressing "7" while you're on the "Tale of Two Santas" menu screen.

I've just found what title the table read is, it's title 21.  The David Cohen X christmas video is title 25.

Languages: English, French

Subtitles: English, French, Danish, Finnish, Norweigan, Swedish.

Sorry Girgio.  :(

Another way to get the DXC Xmas video is to press "6" in the "Tale of Two Santas" menu.

Small complaint about my copy, the slip on case was scored rather badly and I got two covers for the fourth disc.  Apart from that this is the best futurama dvd so far! anyone agree?

I got my copy yesterday - unfortunatly I don't have a DVD player so I had to get it on trusty ol' VHS. I really should invest in a player- but for now at least I have the episodes

These DVD's rule soooooooo much!    One thing I did notice though is a mistake on the outside slipcase. On the slipcase That Guy has orange hair just like Fry.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOO!

Yes, they're here! I think I might be the only one who is new to all these episodes, and I'm having a great time watching them!

One small complaint - some of the additional title messages flash by a little too quickly - but that's all. I love this DVD set!

Well that was a productive 9 hours or so I just had. One small annoyance. Claudia Katz's voice. Ugh. Oh and I can't skip ahead from the menus. Other than that very nice.

Welcome to PEEL, Clive!  Have fun while you're here, stick around, and try the special sauce.  ;)

My disc four case had a small tear in the transparent slipcase, which annoys me slightly.  But overall it's right up there with the other two sets, if not better.  They've kept a consistant standard going on all three sets.

In answer to your and Fred's comment earlier, yes, highlighting the pic on the AWITM and ATOTS menus brings up the eggs for those episodes fine for me.  Weird.

Usually its a problem with the DVD player. The most noticeable other oddity is the Commentary selection button on (at least) the first two sets. On some DVD players/software it works fine, but not on others.

Amazingly, I've not quite finished with Disc 2 yet. Too busy doing Poplog demos, going to lectures, that sort of thing  ;).

Don't think this has been mentioned yet - pressing left to get the border on the ATOTS menu, then pressing up and selecting the santa hat gets the DXC video.

Special Sauce, interesting, what makes it special? Does anyone know why david cohen had to re dub some of the lines for one of the deleted scenes.  David Cohen Singing was quite odd!

I have to press red on the TOTS menu for the table read.

Also, don't forget, 35 is a good number to remember if you can't read that pesky alien language  ;).

He did?  I can't imaging him singing.  I'm not that far into the extras on the disks.

It's the deleted scenes for the episode where fry and bender go to robot mental house.  For some reason he has to dub the odd line!

Welcome to PEEL. And the name of the ep that Fry and Bender go into the Mental is cooled Insane in the Mainframe. That is a great episode I'll have to watch that. I just watched about 3, 4 episodes on the last disc (4):

1)Godfellas
2)Roswell That Ends Well
3)Anology of Interest II

This Morning:

1)Time Keeps on Slippin'
2)Cyber House Rules

By the way, has anyone noticed from the S3 inner case that the stuff outside the window is virtually all taken from the S1 inner case? (Although moved around and rearranged).

Woo! "Ain't No Such Thing As Too Much Amy Wong" namechecked on the commentary for Where The Buggalo Roam by David X. Cohen (Albeit he got it confused with another, lesser website by calling it "Can't Get Enough Amy Wong" :P)

Oh, and the wonderful gotfuturama.com is namechecked on That's Lobstertainment! by Patric Verrone. Result!

So much funny stuff on these discs... Incredibly happy they got Maurice and Tress in for a couple of commentaries, those guys are so funny... The 'Guess The Zoidberg' thing was unbelievable.

The reason why David X does Bender's singing, a guy does  Leela's voice on the AOI2 animatic and some other deleted scene voices are screwed up is because a lot of the voices are 'temped' up until the final sound mix or until the actor becomes available. I personally believe they put that animatic in for the sheer comedy value. I had to restart it, I was laughing so hard at the sheer unexpectedness of 'her' first line "How does it work?".

It's FABULOUS work.

Can't wait to start watching my new DVDs. Had an exam this morning so mum wouldn't let me watch them when they arrived from Play.com yesterday. Gonna watch a few extras then all the episodes in order at the weekend with some friends!

Wow....decent extras on a DVD, must be Futurama.

Has anyone noticed a "slight" snyc drift in the "Route of All Evil" commentary?  Towards the end of the episode the gang are commentating on events that happened nearly 30 seconds previously.

Yes, I've definitely noticed that happening on a couple of commentaries. The main audio remains synched, though (unlike HHRHGB). The other one I can think of earlier is A Head In The Polls.

By the way, I like that they allowed the commentators to slightly overrun the episodes on some commentaries.

David Cohen's christmas message was great, Is the table read worth listening to? The hour length seems a bit long when i have better things to do like revision!

I listened to the table read while revising at the same time. There wasn't much to watch on the screen so I didn't miss much. And the Xmas message was great! "Oh hello, I didn't see you come in! And I didn't see you two come in either."

I have noticed some slight sync drifts in certain bits of other episodes. I can't rmember which bits, but I know they're in there. When I come across them again I will post it.

And for anyone interested, these are the "Throaway Title Gags" (thanks to Nikke10292 at FFMB for typing them up):

This just in: Amazon rules!!

The set came today, and as luck would have it tomorrow is the closest we get to a national holiday. Paid day of from work, I guess I now know what I'll be spending my day doing.

And related to the Amazon news: PostDenmark suck big time. On a hot humid day, with thunderclouds threatening and rainshowers coming and going, the damn mailman placed my Amazon package outside my door, rather than putting a note in my mailbox. Good thing it didn't rain.
