Jade Goody die this morning!  I thougt she was doing to survey longer.
Fuck yes, party all the time. She has gone to where all annoying gas chuffing pointlessly loved talentless celebrities go to which I hope is some place very very hot. Say hello to Princess Diana!

Loads of people die from cancer though, and barely anyone sheds a tear for them?

She didn't exactly help cancer suffers all over the world by whoring out to the media. Yes her death in some ways is a sad thing to her kids. But there is no bloody need to make a book or movie dedicated to her.

I had a friend die of cancer four or five years back. It was horrible to be with her all the time as she physically and emotionally disintegrated - and having to feel how light her coffin was at the end of it. It's a really insidious disease, robbing the victim of all dignity.
She spent her whole life caring for people who couldn't care for themselves - and in the end her reward was to rot away to almost nothing in a hospital bed. Nice old Universe, ain't it? Nobody's going to make a movie about her though, 'cause she wasn't on television.

Who was Jade Goody, anyway?
According to the tabloids, Britains brightest star. :laff:

Anywho I think she had done enough surveys to be fair Juliet.

I expect Just a minute will carry on, it survived the loss of Derek Nimmo and Kenneth Williams. Still a shame that Sir Clement died.

After playing a 75-year old for forty years, Bea Arthur has passed away.

She, Leslie Nelson, and Steve Martin are people I know as those who have just always been old. But its still sad.

Meanwhile, at that great roll-call in the sky...

St Peter: Arthur, Bea?

A deep voice: Here.

[Simultaneously with...]
High-pitched voice: Hey, that's me!

[St. Peter looks up and frowns.]

St Peter: Eric, I said "Arthur, Bea", not "half-a-bee".

Re: David Carradine; the late Peter Boyle playing Clyde Bruckman from season three of the X-files said it best:

"There are alot of ways to go but I can't think of a more undignified one than autoerotic asphyxiation."

Dammit, he was right.

That was weird. My dance teacher told me when I went to class this afternoon and I just thought, "If this was the 80's, it'd be 100x more sad."

But still, that's weird. RIP Jackson.

I'm so sad to hear the news on Michael Jackson.  I doubt anyone will top his lose for the rest of this year and the next few years.

I also learned that Ed McMahon passed away on June 23 and at the same hospital that Michael Jackson died.

http://www.canada.com/pioneer+McMahon+dead/1727366/story.html

Also, it's reported Jackson died exactly 5 hours to the minute after Farrah Fawcett died and it was about 5 miles apart.  This is truly a bad week for people who grew up in the 70's and 80's idolizing these people.
