Who's the worst character?

Nixon's head as one of the most annoying?  No way!  AhhhhRoooo!

My favorite for worst character was that 80's guy.  Not all that funny, and definitely annoying (with apologies to those who picked his avatar).  Unfortunately, also because I worked for someone just like him on Wall Street in the 80's (too bad that jerk didn't get a healthy case of bone-itis as well)...

How is Ahhroo funny?!  I don't get it.  It's not, it's just a stupid noise.  Plus I wasn't around for any of the Nixon drama that apparently went on.  So much for knowing celebrities from our time better.  I bet I know more about calculon that Nixon, though I'm not american.

Celebrities like Calculon and Elzar were fine, completely from the future, and the audience didn't seem to care much about the fact they weren't real and from their time and still found them funny.

Celebrity heads were stupid and I really wish they would cut back on them...

The phrase itself (what nixon's head says in the series) isn't that funny by itself, without being put in context.  Having lived through that mess in the 70's, for me Nixon came to embody one of the worst Presidents the US has seen in a while; he's broadly written that way too, in the episodes; power hungry, greedy & brutal.  For a lot of US citzens, he singlehandedly destroyed the trust we had in the Presidency; every US President since him has been under the microscope from the 1st day they're sworn in, thanks to him.  So, it's kinda fitting, payback wise, to see him written as a disembodied head, still trying to "rule the world" and howling like an animal.  I guess that's Matt Groening's one major political statement in Futurama...

I think that Richard Nixon's head is fine a little. But, he's way overused. I wasn't alive during the Nixon fiasco, but my parents told me a lot about him.

the episodes focused around Nixon's head are annoying, such as "A head in the polls" but one or two line appearances from him are fine to me.

Yeah, it can get kinda overused.  Political satire works best when it's not heavyhanded...

Now that I think about it, I have additional choices for worst character(s).  For worst continual characters, I vote for Leela's parents; they are SO DAMN BORING, and don't seem to add much to the episodes they're in.

I like them, mostly in leela's homeworld though. They were just sweet in that episode.

I absolutly hate Cubert. He's so annoying. I can't stand him so much everytime he comes on the Damn t.v screen i feel like throwing my shoe at him, but if I did my mom would yell at me.lol

Yes, back in the 80's, I had the extreme displeasure of working on Wall Street for someone just like "That 80's Guy", and he was a TOTAL JERK (no disrespect meant towards you or your choice of avatars).  He was incredibly arrogant, treated everyone around him like dirt & was completely driven by greed & avarice.  The guy was so unethical that he thought morals were things you hang on a wall & scruples were Russian currency; the Futurama character is so much like him, it's frightening.  In fact, when I first saw the "Future Stock" episode, I nearly chucked my shoe at my TV...

I dislike Chaz as well but I disagree that he adds nothing to the show. He highlights Leelas failed attempts to have a meaningful relationship due to the fact that she is impressed by the wrong attributes. Like runaway ego, conspicuous consumption, and flattery.
It's no wonder that she picks, Adlai a successful doctor or Chaz the mayors aide. She was even impressed by Zapp until she slept with him.
He is reprehensible but a reasonable character, nonetheless. IMO
