QM, I wish I could take credit for that, but no, my artistic skills are quite limited.  I'd have my own art thread if I could make work that good.

Good detective work winna.  Going back through the archives, I see Capt. S did create it.  When doing a Google search for Leela, that is one of the first few images that came up.  I liked it and wanted to create an avatar from it for possible future usage.

Can you name them similar to the ones in the pool; with character names so that the avatar search will work? If so -> email them to me.

I do think that a few of them would work nicer on PEEL if they faced right, but it's not top priority.

Those are lovely, guys! But avoidably, yes, I admit it, damnit, I buggedy booed in describing what I was looking for. I was hoping for it to be exactly what you have come up with, but with the rest of Hibbert's entire body making it into the avatar as well. Is that possible without too much fuss?

I'd argue that the ratio is most like 2:1 in favor of avatars facing the right since that rule was more enforced during embryonic stages of PEEL.  In fact, I'd say it's only grown to be more equivalent due to the fact that more people have custom avatars and that the rule of thumb hasn't really been enforced almost ever.  I was a big proponent against it because I like messing with authority early on, but I always bring it up when people start talking about it to create a juxtaposition that I find humorous.

All my three custom avys have faced left. If you take it from an original scene (like mine now) and change its original layout it would be like SoS said, heresy (whose avy also faces to the left but I do not know where his is from).

I actually like it when they face left... In fact, most of the posters on this page have left-facing avatars.
