I said Luck of the Fryrish, but I'll be honest because I haven't seen the last few episodes, for fear that I would die of sorrow.
The music at the end fit so perfectly, I just can't take it...

So hard to choose...

I have to say that The Sting, Devil's hands, Love&Rocket, and Leela's Homeworld made me tear up, but not actually cry.  Time Keeps On Slippin' didn't make me misty the first time I saw it, but it gets me more and more every time I see it.  Fry standing there on the bridge looking totally pathetic is hard to take.

The only ones to make me actually sob aloud were Luck of the Fryrish and Jurassic Bark.  They are also the ones that had a time-delay effect, making me cry at odd moments the day after I experienced them.  I'd have to say that Fryrish made me cry in a good way, and Jurassic Bark made me cry in a bad way.

Digression: Don't be too hard on Fry for how he felt about Yancy.  It's hard when your sibling bullies you...when you have a gift (in Fry's case, imagination) that your sister or brother envies and picks on you for.  You keep wondering "What did I do that he treats me this way?!" when it's not anything you did, but something you have that he doesn't.  And it's hard to be Yancy, too, resenting Phil for having it easier (second kids always do) and for having big dreams.  I'm sure he admired Fry's imagination even as he envied him for it, and picked on him because it's easier than admitting you love your bratty little brother.

I guess, though, that my vote has to fall on Jurassic Bark.  I mean, I didn't even see it...I read the transcript of it online right before bedtime, and cried for two hours, hugging my dog. I mean, I was a total emotional basket case.  I had to turn on the light and scribble out what eventually became  this story before I could get any sleep.  I was a wreck at work the next day, and what are you gonna tell your boss - "I'm sad because a cartoon dog died..."?  But if you've ever seen the way a dog waits...like everything else they do, they do it with their whole being. Heck, I sometimes feel guilty just going to the grocery store.

That's why JB "wins" my vote.  I was sad for Yancy and Fry, but it was a happy sort of sadness.  Jurassic Bark was just heartbreaking.  Besides, the sadness of a human being is always mediated by other things...we can distract ourselves, tell ourselves stories about what happened, rationalize, get therapy, eat ice cream, watch Futurama dvd's over and over...we can do something for our pain.  A dog is at the mercy of its own love, and when that love hurts, they have no comfort.  That's one of the saddest things of all.

It's so hard to choose! Probably Jurassic Bark. Poor doggie...  :( It made me feel pretty depressed after I saw that episode the first time. I didn't actually cry though.

Seriously, Jurassic Bark's ending seemed so depressing for Futurama, or any cartoon for that matter.

Jurassic Bark. Recently I messed things up bad with a close friend and it'll be a long time before they'll speak to me again, if ever. A very depressing episode to watch when you miss someone. The end song really gets to me.

While no episodes cause me to secrete ocular fluid, I simply cannot watch Time Keeps on Slippin'.  It just puts me in a foul mood for about the next few hours.

I voted Jurrasic Bark. None of the episodes made me emotional, however it gets it because my sister was crying over it.

Everytime i watch luck of fryish it gets me all emotional when fry is just staring at his nephews statue and realising his brother loved him. what a great twist it was!
jurrasic bark is a close second that gets me choked up to, but seen as i have never had a dog but have have two brothers the vote went to fryish!
no other episodes choked me like those two.

Definatley Jarrasic Bark. Its the bit at the end where Seymore is waiting outside the pizza shop for Fry, with the sad music on in the backgound. Thats the bit I find I have to fight back tears on.

I've never cried during a movie or TV show, but the very closest I've ever came was the first time I saw the end of Jurassic Bark.  I attribute it to the fact that only myself and the family dad were present to watch that episode, however, it hasn't really affected me any other imes I've seen it

Luck of the Fryrish for me, mostly because of the end music and the flashbacks.

Jurassic Bark: It's the only episode except for the last to make me cry(slightly-im all man), it's that Seymour spends the rest of his miserable life waiting for Fry and if he had been cloned the dog would have died happy. Also good use of music.

Leela's Homeworld has a good ending with a very catchy tune.  Jurassic Bark has a fantastic ending as well, that's about the best part of the episode, but I wouldn't say it's the most tear-jerking.  Luck of the Fryish is just the definitive sobbing episode.  The whole story has you riding line on the edge through a confusing mixture of emotion.  At the end, when you realize what has really transpired and the timeflashes synchronize together, you're left with a heart inspired feeling of remorse, happiness, and connection.  It's all about the relationships, and in the end the love of leaving a brother's lost legacy and dreams to one's son beats out that of a determinedly loyal dog.

Granted 'The Sting' was an emotional rollercoaster ride  for Leela, but she woke up and everything was OK - she was no longer in a coma and Fry was alive and at her side.  That made it a happy ep (in my humble opinion).

'Devil's Hands' is a tearjerker because it was the last ep, but it showed that Leela cared enough about Fry not to abandon him like everybody else did.

So 'Jurassic Bark' and 'Luck OF The Fryish' both have to top the two top tearjerkers in this household.

devil hands was sad, but the only reason it was sadder then, the dog ep was because it was the last episode

The Sting. Too much humour in innaproprate places in Jurrasic Bark and Luck of the Fryish. The Sting was brilliant because while you got to see Leela's emotions, they left a lot of room for doubt about whether she likes Fry as much as he likes her.

Katey did a great job in this episode, especially with the catch in her voice right before she finaly wakes up, plus some of the humourous lines were great AND related, plus they advanced the plot.

The Sting is also my favourite episode  :)

I had a tough time deciding between The Sting and Jurassic Bark.  Mostly because I watched Jurassic Bark only 2 hours ago, and it made me weep a little.  But I had to go with the sting, after reading Venus's wonderful fanfic on this board.

Luck of the Fryrish was pretty tear-inspiring at the end, and Devil's Hands was tear-inspiring just for the fact that it was the last episode ever (I cried so much when I saw that last episode when it was new on tv). but by a wide margin Jurassic Bark gets my vote. I was bawling for like 5 minutes. And I still bawl that much each time I watch it.

Jurassic Bark for me also, because of the end music and how Fry rallies to get his dog back. And when they have the cloning machine below ground and Bender throws fossilised Seymour into the lava but Fry tries to jump in and Leela has to hold him back.
I'm nearly crying while I'm writing this post.
