While all are great episoides I had to go with LotF simply because it's freash in my mind as I just wached it today and I haven't seen any of the season four stuff in quite some time. Yancy: I love you Philip...and I always will.

Yancy is such a sweetheart. I wonder what made him such a dick when they were young?

I really wish there was more of him in fan stuff, or in the show itself even. Maybe if we do get Futurama back we'll learn a little more about Fry's past. Actually I'd love to see more about everyone's past.

I haven't seen Jurassic Bark yet, but if I had I'd have probably voted for it. I voted for Luck Of The Fryish.

I hadn't seen Jurassic Bark when I first voted, but now I have and...! The ending with the old music and you see time pass by and he dies waiting... I'm not a dog person either, but that one had me. After I watched it, I went into the bathroom and sobbed. (Also, it was hard to explain to my mom why I was crying at 2:30 a.m.)  :hmpf:

The first time I saw Jurassic Bark it choked me up a little, but I'm voting Luck of the Fryish because the end choked me up the first five times I saw it.

Ok how is Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch sad? The episodes that make me cry on a verge are the following:
1.Jurrasic Bark
2.The Luck of the Fryrish
3.Time Keeps on Skipping
4.The Sting
5.Leela's Homeworld (I just saw it recently)

Jurassic Bark got mine too, that was so sad, and the music was sad too... The Sting was real close, and Luck of the Fryrish was really sad at the end, that one almost got my vote untill I saw Jurassic Bark.

1. The Sting
2. Time Keeps on Slipping
3. Luck of the Fryrish
4. The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings
5. Jurassic Bark

Jurrasic Bark wasn't as sad as it was shocking. When I first saw it on Fox I was all "..." because I was stunned they would be that abrupt and cold with the ending. Which doesn't make it not sad, just that it gets overwhelmed by the unexpectedness of the turn at the end.

The Sting and Luck of the Fryrish were :') as opposed to :'(, though I did neither for either. The Sting was on the verge of being overblown, but it stopped just short so it has my vote.

The Sting.  I was so angry at Leela when I thought she had gotten Fry killed because she HAD to outdo the last crew and take the risk with the baby bee.  Then, when I saw that he had been trying to wake her thru her coma, and had sat by her side- I did get a little teary.  What a great episode.

The Luck of the Fryrish!

I felt so bad for Yancy in the end because of Fry's undeserving hatred and jealousy for him throughout the episode

The Devils Hands are Idle Playthings.

So sad at the end, not because of the things happening in the episode, but because every time I watch it I think 'Shit, this is the last ever episode of Futurama that they're gonna make. There aren't going to be any more'.

I couldn't decide between Luck Of The Fryrish and Jurassic Bark.  However, I voted for the former because it really was the episode that pushed the envelope and not only was incredibly funny but really made you realize that this series was something very unique in that it could actually make the viewer really emotional.  So it gets more points for really being the first show of the series to do that (yes, I realize Parasite's Lost was first but that episode just brushed on what Luck of the Fryrish did, even if it was excellent in my opinion).

Although, the final shot of Fry trying the holophoner in Parasite's Lost was great and I love how it was really brought back later.

And Time Keeps On Slipping, besides being one of my top three episodes ever, really just made my mouth hang open in frustration with the totally pathetic look on Fry's face looking at the black hole.  It was a GREAT story and I loved it (and actually love all of Ken Keeler's episodes), but it didn't make me cry.  Just frustrated.  VERY frustrated.  But in that good way that you re-watch episodes like that over and over for.

Hmmm....

I haven't seen Jurrasic Bark (or at least remember seeing it) yet, so my vote goes to The Luck of the Fryish. Time Keeps on Slippin' isn't that sad. Leela's Homeworld was okay. Not too sad.

Jurassic Bark kept me up for days, I was so upset.  I remembered all the pets I missed.  LotF was sad, also, but I would have to say its more bittersweet than sad. (I lost my brother years ago too.)

Jurassic Bark: only episode to actually make me cry  -- the first two times I watched it it made me cry, after that it was just expected --.

Luck Of The Fryish: Emotional every time I watch it --doesn't make me cry but gives me that teary feeling...--

Leela's Homeworld/Time Keeps On Slippin'/The Sting/ Devil's hands: Same effect as LOTF but not as strong...

Parasites: Same effect as the others but even less strong...

Love&Rocket/Kiff GKUAN: Not tear-drippy!

There you have it, I'm voting for Jurassic Bark!

"Luck Of The Fryrish" for me.

All that time Fry thought Yancy hated him then to find out that he loved him. And the whole yancy nameing his kid after fry thing nearly teared me up.

I've never been one for gushyness but that is one of the only exceptions.

The Devils Hands Are Idol playthings at the end.

Mainly because it was the last and it was emotional in a way.

The Sting.

Why The Sting? you ask? Well, this is because the whole basis of the episode was on Leela and her emotions towards Fry. Yes, Jurassic Bark did make me cry because of the ending, but I thought that watching The Sting for the first time and thinking Fry was "that thing"(for people that haven't watched it) made me really sad. I thought he was "that thing" and then Leela's emotions after "that thing" were the sadness of the episode. The whole episode was sad, which is more than Jurassic Bark, which, for me, was only really sad at the end.

Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings.

One of the most touching endings and the episode that made me buy every other boxset DVD. I was stoned the first time i watched it and wept like a baby...only Ella Fitzgerald's "Every Time We Say Goodbye" has had the same effect.

Devil's Hands, Sting, Rocket, Parasites and Slippin' are the elite episodes, but they're not necessarily tear-jerkers.

The tradgedy of the Slippin' ending kills me. Jurassic Bark is so sad that I can't shead a single tear.

However, Luck Of The Fryish is the one that gets me. It wasn't just one sad moment, the whole plot built up to the climax of water works. I'm not saying that I break down beyond recovery, but Fryish is the only episode which makes me truly emotional. The comedy is great, too!

I have to say, though, although some episodes may still cause a tear or two on th 50th viewing, the Sting made the biggest impact on me the first time.

Half of these fricken suck.... and people care about some damn mangy dog... go figure

Luck of the Fryish is the tearjerker for sure; I mean c'mon, he named his son after his long lost brother for friggin crying out loud!  On top of that, ending with that song just brings Breakfast Club right back into your brain, whoever didn't vote for this one is a loser.  You're all jerks!

For me, it's a tie between The Sting and The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings. TDHAIP was the only episode to actually make me cry, but I only cried when I first saw it, mainly because I knew it was the last episode. The Sting never made me cry, but it does make me get all emotional every time I see it. My vote goes to The Sting, but TDHAIP is a very, very close second, with Jurassic Bark being a very, very close third (that song is just so sad...).
