I can't believe so many people are voting for Hell is Other Robots. That episode sucks!

I'll go with My Three Suns. Good story, good animation, and many hilarious gags. Love's Labour's Lost In Space comes close, but it still has that early-season one stiffness to it. You know what I mean? The jokes are funny, but for some reason it just doesn't feel like it's all there.

What is it about "Hell Is Other Robot" that makes it so popular? Outshining the hillarious Zappar/Kif interaction, Zoidberg's introductionscene in "The Series Has Landed" and even the awesomeness of SP3k? How is that possible?

I had to give some love to "Fear of a Bot Planet".  That one always makes me laugh. 

Blernsball.
Fry dancing "the Robot".
"You seem to be leaking coolent at an alarming rate.  How about a shot of hot resin?"
The "chick flick" without enough human killing.
"Silence! I concur!"
The bandaids on Fry's neck in the last party picture.

God that episode was funny - I'm going to watch it tonight (All glory to the DVDs!).  This would have been a more difficult choice if we were going production seasons with "A Flight to Remember" and "When Aliens Attack" ("Camera 3."  (buzzzz) - ha ha ha!), but Bot Planet was my fave of FOX's Season 1.

I didn't think much of Hell Is Other Robots the first time I saw it either. It started to grow on me after later viewings. The musical number is an inspired and highly enjoyable bit. I would wager that is what makes this episode so memorable.

It still ranks as one of the best Bender episodes in my book.

HIOR has a good story, some funny parts, it disses Atlantic City, has the BEASTIE BOYS, and has a toe-tapping original song.

Had to go with A Big Piece of Garbage because of the funniest joke ever....when Fry misses the button to launch the rocket....hilarious!!!

HIOR's song in robohell beats any musical Disney or anyone else ever made or will ever make! I guess, this song is the main reason people love it so much (me too).

Not me! I voted for Hell Is Other Robots, but I don't think the robot hell song was that great. It was good, but by Futurama standards it wasn't very funny.

It's bizarre, my three favorite episodes are the some of the lowest ranked. I just don't understand it (HIOR & A Big Piece of Garbage rank in my bottom three). I have already extolled the virtues of My Three Suns... and I think that Damitol beautifully showcased the best of Fear of a Bot Planet (except that you missed my favorite joke- Leela: "try to stay with the crowd so no one can see how crummy you look..." Crummy Robot: "Awww, that was uncalled for" )... But I, Roomate is also a big winner in my book- the introduction of the owl problem, and All My Circuits ("Is he objecting or backing up?" ),and all of the cheap shots at New Jersey... ALSO- the exchange between Bender and Fry about the bathroom is one of the most priceless in Futurama history ("...the what what?" ).

Gotta agree that I,Roommate is a great episode. I remember hearing on the commentary how the writers came up with this episode to please FOX and they hated it!

No, I don't know what you mean.  Love's Labours Lost In Space is my favorite season 1 episode.  It introduces my favorite character, Zapp Brannigan.

Top 2? I think it should go like this: With the coming seasons, there should be two polls. Part 1, and then Part 2 with Part 1's winner. With Season Two, which has 20 episodes total, either make a final poll between the two finalists or see which one has the most votes. And also, I can't believe "Hell is Other Robots" is gonna win!
