Fry looks super awesome with wet hair. Another feature about him that reminds me of me. (Except mine doesn't look awesome when wet, it just goes really flat then puffy when it dries, like a dome...)

Leela looks very muscular, must be the affects of Nectar.
Anyone else predicting a bedroom/sex scene where Leela accidently hurts Fry due to her strength?
I do not want to shock the shippers, but here is another possible theory regarding the nectar's effect: Leela and Fry are not really together, her erotic interest was just stirred by the drug. And -by the end of the episode, with Leela being "clean"- she is no longer interested in Fry, maybe with a "Sorry I was so drugged to suggest this. Let's forget it and never ever talk about it again" excuse. Yeah, I know, I am a spoilsport.... But previews ARE often deliberately misleading, and those are often the most fun for writers. Besides, it might be a funny twist on the usual "Drugs change people for the worse, and their friends are the ones to notice". When this time said friend Fry finds a positive aspect in the drug -Leela's interest in him- he will certainly miss. Also, it might be quite Fry-ish to bring a personal sacrifice by trying to get Leela away from the drug for her own sake, knowing it will deprive him of this chance to get her finally laid. I also wonder how Amy comes into play: For a mere drug abuse, one person is enough. Maybe one of them admits those negative consequences to herself and quits, while the other one is stubborn and wants to pull it through at all costs (in that case, it seems obvious who the stubborn character will probably be )

Here is some sugar for local shippers .
sorry to say this but i really DON'T like that...at all. all those injuries must've f**ked him up for life & warped his view of what's good for him. i wrote this on facebook: i can't hide my jealousy. i love him too but i should just chill 'cause he's a cartoon. lol i really don't think they should be together but if he's HAPPY, i'm HAPPY. can't wait for Futurama to return! i also didn't approve of Bender bending Fry's leg backwards but he should be fine Fry looks so frigging adorable with his hair down.
Fry looks super awesome with wet hair. agreed. despite that stuff i don't like, i'm really excited for Futurama to return 'cause of this: http://comedycentral.tumblr.com/post/22788712686/countdown-to-futurama-puddle-monster-who-doesntpantsless Fry is the best

They look like they're about to make out.
I was just coming in here to complain that "The Butterjunk Effect" looks like it might offer that same variety of obnoxious Leela/Amy fan-service that we got with the cringe-worthy Leegola/Gynecaladriel smoochin' "Bender's Game"... ...but then I saw today's Fry/Leela storyboards, and I figured I'd best shut my mouth. Even if the writers do go the fan-service route with Leela and Amy, they're also satisfying my shippy wishes with the Fry/Leela stuff. So whatever--I'll call it even.

To be fair Gorky, we did get some pretty cringe-worthy fan disservice last season with the Zoidberg on Hubert action and the sex-switched Professor's boobs flapping about in the breeze.
It took me 2 months to get those images out of my head, and you put them back in?! Louis......
Tststs...you girls always complain we men just care for your looks. But when the story showed Fry as a man going beyond the "mere looks" aspect, it's also not all okay... Women...they never know what they want (Sorry, I just couldn't resist that one )

This is true. However, my beef lies with the writers' need to pander to the fans in general. Like, I'd rather never see another gratuitous and out-of-character LesYay-ish moment between Leela and Amy again, and in exchange only see Fry and Leela making out in other people's disgusting bodies. The latter at least seems true to the characters (if not a little vulgar, as was the case with the table-lovin' in "The Prisoner of Benda"); the former is blatant fan-service, to which I am generally opposed.[/self-righteous ranting] I thought it was called "Naturama"...
So did I, but perhaps there will be two compilation episodes in production season seven. The same thing happened in production season six, with a compilation episode ending both 6A and 6B. Naturama (7ACV13) is probably intended to end 7A, leaving Saturday Morning Fun Pit to perhaps end 7B.
I assumed the same thing, that "Naturama" is 7A's non-canon finale, and "Saturday Morning Fun Pit" (which, from MG's description, sounds pretty awesome) is 7B's non-canon finale. 'Course, from its title alone "Naturama" sounds pretty stupid, so I kind of hope I'm wrong and that "Saturday Morning Fun Pit" is actually a 7A episode.

Also, the scenes in "Prisoner of Benda" were awesome. I appreciate the shippy stuff, but this is a sci-fi show. It works best when there's a comical sci-fi twist on it. "The Sting" and "Parasites Lost" would have been pretty boring if they had straight, down-to-earth romantic plot lines.
A "non-sci-fi-plot" related romantic plot line was tried in "Overclockwise", and it didn't work too well. Leela seemed to leave for no special reason, and returned when a happy end was needed. It seemed neither plot nor character driven. It was more like: "We need some conflict...PRIVATE LEELA! DISMISSED!!!!" "We need some happy end...PRIVATE LEELA!!! ATTENTION!!!"

I hope they make this Butterfly Derby sport interesting... Not so keen on what we've seen of TBE so far.
It sounds like a contradiction, but Leela is the least suitable character to carry an obviously action oriented plot over a long time. Having given her too many positive skills/abilities in early episodes, the character is the most likely one of the cast to spawn lazy writing, by declaring her just "to be good enough". Had Leela been the character in IITMF sent to the robot asylum, I am pretty sure the showdown would have consisted in her landing a punch on Roberto, declaring that one to be strong enough and sending him to the ground. While Fry's lack of abilities forced the writers to come up with an unexpected, funny solution and a new twist. Leela's action scenes are usually "quick and efficient" deeds, but rather plot details instead of being able to carry a long running plot. E.g. in FATSF, is was necessary for her to pull Fry out of the slurm to get the plot moving, but hardly anyone would call that an especially hilarious or surprising scene. It had to be done, kept the plot smoothly moving from one setting to another, but that's it. Which is quite fitting and spot-on for one of the most low-key characters. While Fry's rescue in the end -saving Leela as the damsel in distress by not fighting any monsters, but rather his own addiction- would never have worked by declaring Fry "just good enough" , by suddenly developing so much willpower to ignore the slurm as soon as the necessity did arise. So, to cut a long story short: TBE imhO bears a great risk of consisting of too many scenes just featuring the lazy writing solution of "Leela being just good enough to get through, because...erm...she's great, you know".
