The show already is dead, has been for almost 2 years.  If you mean will they keep making the comics after the show is off the air, then yes, as long as they don't completely tank.

The comics appear to be getting better recently. Don't get me wrong some of my favourite issues are the early ones (#1,3,4,5,8...) But the recent crossover issues, and issues 11, and 13 have been even better. So i think that the comics will continue for quite a while. It's not like Futurama comics are the only thing Bongo publishes so they have other projects to fall back on financially. And now that no more episodes are being made the writers can transfer all thier unused ideas to the comics. it'll be like scratching a creative itch. So i would say that not only are the comics going to continue but they are going to get better.

It would be very difficult to run out of storylines for a creation with as many possibilities as Futurama. The Simpsons have managed to inspire over 300 episodes and 80+ comics (I think that's about right, i don't follow Simpsons comics) And the Simpsons is in a "realistic" setting and centred around a family. Imagine what the writers can do with a whole universe of Futuristic characters and far fetched Sci-fi storylines.

Whilst i was writing the first part of this post Bendo posted the link above, I can't belive this is the first i've heard about this big upcoming Futurama Comics project! It sounds very intersting, a four part Time travel extravaganza.

I'm so angry I'd close this thread* but ill keep it open for a few more hours or something

this type of thread has already been made and futurama comics arent dying as its been stated...so i felt like this thread could just die

I hope this means they're going monthly. That would be awesome.

I agree, but sometimes less means more. If the quaility slips because they have to get them out quicker, then I'd rather they were less often. But hopefully they'll remain quality  :)
