Idiot bongo comics makes about 7 issues in advance. So don't freaking worry! their schedule has been screwed up a little but, no big problem. And remember sunny, the comics dont come out until the last wed. of every month. so of course someones gonna say 'the months almost over, no comic'.

Originally posted by Bendo: 7 issues in advance seems a little much for Bongo Comics. I have always thought of them as more along the lines of an independant and not a major publisher like Marvel and DC. If Bongo were running at 7 issues in advance that does not explain why they can't seem to meet the bi-monthly schedule of Futurama Comics (and still get Simpsons Comics out on a monthly basis with no problem) or why it had to go on mini-hiatus while the Crossover Special was being completed. I would guess that Bongo runs at probabl 4-5 issues ahead on Simpsons Comics and probably 1 or 2 issues ahead on Futurama Comics. From what I hear they just don't have the staff to churn out monthly comics of all of their titles so resources are allocated to where they are needed most for that particular month. I am actually surprised that 10 and 11 are coming out on schedule respectively but considering 10 is off schedule from 9 and a filler issue I can see how 11 will come out on time and with the regular team on it. That and the Crossover Special thrown in and you can probably guess that James Lloyd has been one busy beaver for the last 4-5 months. RM Youre right, I was thinking 7 months, not 7 issues... Normally a writer will start writing a comic, finish it, and it all takes about 7 months. as you said, 2 or 3 issues ahead seem about right. but they arent finished, theyll need backgrounds or something.
