Is it true that they are going to bring out a new Futurama game soon?

I think I probably speak for the whole board when I say, I seriously doubt it.  where did you hear that there was going to be a new game?

It would be cool if they did make another Futurama game with high definition, better graphics and gameplay for the next gen consoles but it is very unlikely considering how Futurama has become less apparent over the last few years however I found this cool video:

Yeah my bad, I wasn't very experienced with GTA modding when I made that.

There is somebody starting their own new GTA NNY just recently but don't get your hopes up for it ever being finished the guy making it has some issues.

If they do another (official) game, it ought to be sandbox-style.

I just want to see a GTA-spoof with Zoidberg bumbling through missions given to him by the Robot Mafia. And being paid in fish-heads.

Obviously you don't know how games work.

The Simpsons game was in 3D, it just had cartoon shade/line rendering which made the 3D appear flat and only the cut scenes were animated in 2D.

The Futurama game did that as well. It didn't look great, but then it was a mere PS2 game.

Actually they didn't, during the cut scenes they did, that's because the cut scenes were video but the actual characters just had their mesh duplicated turned black resized and inverted so as to appear like they have a black outline.

Try understand that!

I do.

Im looking to buy the original game for the xbox but it is a hard find and very expencive since it has become some what of a collectors item. from what I hear the video game was written by the writers of futurama and has the original cast so its like the episode you have never seen...

I want, I want.....

I've seen the cutscenes for the game on youtube, and the characters look weird because they are in 3D. If they DID make another one, I think they would have to get matt groening and his team to make the cutscenes, because it would then look awesome. What about them making one for the nintendo wii. It would be awesome, because maybe it could come with a planet express ship steering wheel. You would maybe fly around in the PE ship, to deliver stuff.

I don't know for Wii, but I'm still hankering for a sandbox-style New New York. All due respect to Freako's modding of GTA, but I'd love an official one with all the voices and with, as you said Willster, proper cutscenes.

Imagine running around as one of the characters. Flying the ship, taking the tube-lines to go go complete missions, exploring the retro-sci-fi hilarity of the city...

Now that the show's been renewed it might just be possible.

It would be stupid for them not to make another game and a sandbox one at that.

Everybody else is doing it, don't they want to be popular?

Also Leela can grow out her elbow talons to use as weapons, also you can unlock the shock collar to electrocute people when you hit them.

The sounds that come out of Leela while using it would probably give the game an M rating.

Just throw in some miracle cream and you've got yourself some bad ass beat downs.
I'd imagine it being somewhat like "Prototype" or "InFamous"

what about extras- every good game has extras. Like for each level you complete, you would get stuff like clips, or mini games, or special vehicles and weapons to use in the game. And anyway, what's an m rating? Does it mean mature? I'm from england, where the age rating system is different. These are the video ratings- they start at Universal (U) Which anyone can watch. then there is PG, which means parental guidance. Then up to a 12, to a 15, and then to an 18. Then there's the Pegi game ratings which I will put in ascending order. 3+, 7+, 12+, 15+, 16+ and 18+.

M means 15+ and that's as high as ratings go for video games down here, because the retards in the suits think video games are made for kids only.

Well actually it goes to MA which is basically the same as M anyway because they're both 15+. Which again goes to show how stupid the retards in the suits are...

They could make a futurama arcade machine. I bet I'd be told off for hogging it though. maybe someone could  start a petition for a new game for futurama. Maybe there could be multiple games. like a game based on each season of futurama and the movies. I mean nearly every movie that comes out (mostly kids movies) get their own game to play. But the futurama games would be better. Much better.
