hey all

just shopping on ebay for futurama stickers and found this, and only this, in the entire world.
 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6398388832&ed=1119144415000&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOTB:AU:6

i thought it was awesome. will be going on my car.

if that link doesn't work, just go to ebay.com and type in "futurama stickers."

-V

p.s., i seached "stickers" in this forum before i posted an found none such topic, but apologies if this has already been seen before.

Fake? I mean, look at the picture on eBay.

Does anybody else think that looks fake?

And it's on eBay. EBAY! People sell things on eBay saying they are Powerbooks, but when they open the package up, it's a Burger King toy.

And it seems overpriced.

By fake do u mean unofficial? IMO its worth it if the creators dont make it and it looks good. Like I bought dvd's of cartoons. i know theyre not from disney but its good anyway.

By fake he mean: "illegal bootlegs, manufactued by violating copyrights and intellectual property laws for personal gain."

Also it's spelled "you".

Hope you think it's still worth it when MPAA slaps you with a 6 digit lawsuit. Buying bootlegs is exactly as illegal as producing them.

considering there are hundreds of stickers/decals on ebay and the internet of various weird things, you'd have to wonder if they'd all go for a lawsuit over a sticker worth a couple of bucks.

it still looks cool.

and buying a sticker and buying a lap top are two very different purchases....ebay is somewhat more reliable that one would think, although not entirely. why is everyone getting so worked up over a sticker.

*ah gotta go lie down*

Ofcourse not, but they just might be more inclined to do so over a couple of DVD's worth 20-30$ a piece.

Even if they didnt even produce DVD's (or even VHS's) of that sort? I doubt it.

Yeah, well if they actually were able to enforce the laws to those other than THE PEOPLE WHO SELL  BOOTLEGS, a helluva lot of the population would be in jail now huh?

What's your point?

That it's alright to break the law as long as you don't get caught?

Meh, forget it...

No. but when the law touches gray area, its basically applicable only in the best interest of the owners of the copyrights.

That is, to arrest those who CLAIM OWNERSHIP of their property and sell it. Once they r stopped, MORE (they make millions still) people will buy the original copies. Its not about being right or wrong.

Like "God" in Godfellas said "Right or wrong are just words. Its what u do".
