Picture Request

Ok, I have a request for any talented artists out there. I was looking for a good signature image, and I thought of one:
You know in the beginning of the Futurama theme song, when the PE Ship flies through the R into New New York? Well, I want something like that, but instead of FUTURAMA, it says ZEEP and the PE ship is flying through the P.

I'll post a pic later on to better illustrate my idea.

But to anyone who'd be willing to do this, I can assure you you would be paid handsomely (by which I mean with my neverending gratitude.) Also, I would vote for you for Poster Of The Month.
Since the picture is going in my sig, you'd have to find out the right dimensions for a sig pic. But other than that... well... that's it.

Hmmm, I quite busy with my exams coming up but I'll have a go. Don't get too excited though, this is a pretty big project (for someone like me anyway) I'll see what I can do.   

Zeep, do your think you could get me a screengrab of the PE ship flying through the R?

And Kikix that is exactly my problem, The ship flies through the R and the "camera" moves with the ship. So it is pretty hard to animate it and get it down to only 16k. Or do you want a static sig Zeep?

Whoa, man those are cool! I having even started on it yet but I know they wouldn't turn out anywhere near that great. Did you draw the new letters yourself?

They're made of two layers of WordArt in MS Word2002.
The first layer is the yellow part with the 3d-effect, and above the second, a yellow outline with red/darker red color effect filled.

I've done the letters in Word an made a screenshot do get them into PSP.

btw. the background is a framegrab, the Pe-ship, too.

ok, thanks for what you've done, but i was thinking of something along these lines:


except instead of "TURAM" it would look more like:

with the little bit of "M" removed from the right side.

great job!

but somehow... it's not quite like i imagined it...

do you think you could:

• make the arc a bit flatter (like, close to the angle it is in the pics i posted)
• put a bit of light coming out of the P, like this:

• strech the letters out a bit to make the Z overlap the left edge of the pic (just a bit) and make the P very close to the other edge

i'm trying to go for a look as if it were actually cut out of a full title, whereas now it looks like it's just the words ZEEP

sorry i'm so picky... it's not you, you're doing an amazing job, especially considering the fact that you're not getting much out of it.

also, one little detail:
could you make the PE ship a little bigger?

and while i'm at it, one other little detail:
could you make the P slant a little bit? it looks too  level. (slant towards the E, that is)

I think it is impossible to get things animated in this picture. It wouldn't fit the maximum 16kb rule, unless you use only 7 colors, this would make it look really crummy.
Or do you want a static picture with your name in the middle and things around it? This would be possible to do.

i think the 2nd one is the best choice, the picture with stuff around it and my name in the middle and i didnt mean moving, i meant just standing there but it looks as though its floating like in that picture.

What happened to the colors? Why did you resave it as .gif instead of the original jpg quality?

I tried the original, but it sed it was a bmp (not allowed) lemme try again (damn compuer) ugh! now it says File was larger than maximum allowed (16384). Please use a smaller file

And try cleaning out your Internet-cache (Internet-temp-folder), sometimes windows freaks out when it gets too large (In case you are using Windows).

How's <-- Short for "How is" not "How does".

Correct sentence with abbreviation: "How's it looking?"

But that sounds retarded, So just say "How does it look" instead of "How's it look".

Also, It looks good. But all pictures GFF does are of awsome quality so that's to be expected.

I absolutely love that sig!!! I have spent the last half hour trying to upload it as my signature, but I cant.
I have saved it to JPG, i have tried to save to jpg(lowercase)but I cant.I have also tried linking to Imageshack(dunno how that would work tho).
