Jesse B., link me up to some of your Rocketshippy drawings... I did quite a lot myself. =^.^= I never thought Ash and Misty made a good couple though And Brock will just be a horny old lecher forever, right? =O.o= Actually, I have nowhere to host my drawings. If someone was willing to do so, I'd gladly put 'em up. I could e-mail them to you, too. As for the series itself, I did a lot of alterations to the show's concept. Ash is still the main focus, but he now has a budding romance with Misty (they're engaged by Season 3 and the series finale features their marriage). Ash being 20 and Mist being 22, they both live in an apartment in downtown Goldenrod. Brock is no longer with the group - he went back to Pewter to take over the gym for his dad, and also opened his own fitness center (a Season 1 episode features Ash paying Brock a visit and winding up in an exercise regimen). He's nowhere near as much of a dip around girls as he used to be - now 23, he's learned to control himself, which resulted in a few dates with various Joys and Jennys. And Jessie and James are completely different people - much tougher and more serious, they even carry handguns and know how to use them. Their married life isn't delved into too much in the series, but they do care about each other a lot. Meowth is still with them (taller, lankier, and more sarcastic), and Pikachu is still with Ash (again, taller, stronger, and kinda lazy). But Team Rocket isn't after Pokémon anymore - in fact, I focus more on the human characters and their issues than I do on the Pokémon themselves. As the characters are grown up now, the themes are more mature - it takes more cues from "Futurama" and "The Simpsons" than it does from the original series. I put a lot of effort into this - I think you'd appreciate it.

Here's a drawing I did (on the train ride back from New York) that combines my love of dragons and Futurama. I gave this dragon a beak and mane much like Pazuzu has. I really love the mid-air bucking motion its going through. I might refrain from Futurama fanart for a while, as I just closed a book deal in which I will recieve a hefty lump sum and a good percent of profits from the venture. I'll let you know more when its published.

Nice Image FJ! Though Fry strikes me as the non-violent, passive type and it seems like he wouldn't carry a sword. Still it could be a prop. Profound congratulations on your book deal! Though, now I'll go into withdrawl (on the installment plan) from your excellent artworks. Please do tell us when and where we might see the book you're working on. If the book is as good as the art you post here, you'll be rich.
