Okay. This is the new thread. I might post some at TGAG now and again but mostly here. I just did this one.

Tell me what you think.

You might want to use a different resizer or do some anti-aliasing to remove the... aliasing.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Try to increase the color depth before you resize them. It should take care of some (if not all) the aliasing.

Okay. I have some more FREE time to do scans. I'm not only going to do scans though, I'm going to be doing some drawings so look out for them. I'll post them ere maybe in GAG.
Anyway, a new Fry Scan from me Lee.

Enjoy

Good job Lee.
The line weights aren't too much, colors are good, and composition is clean.
I've a sore spot when it comes to colors, though. This is not directed a you, more a general gripe. I notice linear patterns of dark pixels in the background. IMHO these unusually bright or dark pixels detract from the overall appearance if the image. Unless you're applying a gradient, I'm of the opinion that a field of color should (ideally) be made of one color of pixel. I know that in certain styles, as in 'impressionism' different discrete colors are put on the canvas, mixing in the viewers eye, not said canvas. I think this technique is out of place for scan-art.
But that's just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
You're doing well; keep up the good work.

Thank you u 2. I do agree does look a bit weird. I had a go at Homer in PNG image. Sadly it might not look not good due to the fact that my mouse is playing up on me so 'm going to ahve to get a new one. Tell me what you think.

The image quality is good, with strong colours. But the outlines are a bit jerky and angular. But I guess that's because of your mouse.

Okay. I done one of Ralph now. It's smaller than the last one. Tell me what you think. :0

I find PNG better and nicer, so this is also a PNG image

What program do you use?
You should try Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.
The lines will come smoother and the colors less vibrants.

Thank You. I've got a new mouse set, Wacom they call it. It's better to use so I'll have some soon. I don't wish to double post, so if someone on PEEL gives a thought on any scan here then please do so. I'll have hose scans soon.
