The voice is a little high, but like grim, you have the decapodian sound in your voice.

That's pretty cool M0le, better than mine I think, I should have another go at zoidberg sometime

Here you go Hobo, here's my attempt at a Robot-Devilesk character, I couldnt get a straight impression of it out so I did a character with similar inflections and sort of ran with it, if you like it, I'll supply it for your 3d film

RobotDevil-esk character

Something some of you might find entertaining, this is me warming up, doing some different voices as I try to get the irony in!

Lol, well, I tried a voice...I tried the infamous 'porno dealing monster' line. ^^; Granted, It probably sucks, 'cause i'm no Maurice, plus I'm female, so its hard to get the gravelly sound of his voice out. But at least I tried. ^_^; Maybe next time I should drink some water before I try it. >_<

Any voice tips? Suggestions? ^^;

Just host the sound clip somewhere, like a geocities account and make a normal link to it

I think that come close to Leela.

And that's just FF1's natural voice, with a little bit more training it would be very near the original!  :)

I thought it had about the right pitch, it's just that the tonal qualities (as lovely as they are) aren't the same as Leela's (well, to be technical, Katey Sagal's).  Katey's is not an easy voice to replicate, but with time, I'm sure it could be done.

Holy crap, M0le..! How did you do that? You sound excacly like Zoidberg!
And FF1, I think I hear a younger Leela in your voice. That's pretty good!

Great impressions, everyone! I wish I could do that...

FF1, that's a great impression of Leela. I hope you post some more.
Also, thanks Becky!
And some new ones from me:
Another Zoidberg
Robot Devil-esque 1
Robot Devil-esque 2
Nixon 1
Nixon 2
Zapp
I'd make some more but we have company.  :(

Hehe these made me laugh m0le, your zoidberg is pretty awesome, the zap was good too!

the Robot Devil one unfortunately sounded more like Frankenstine's assistant igor to me, which is pretty cool in itself, perhaps if you recorded it clearer and made the voice more over the top the way the robot devil actually is it would be better

Still good work

I thought M0Le's Robot Devil sounded kinda like one of the characters from Watership Down (the movie remake of the book).  As for the Zoidberg, I think you need to add a little more pep to it ... Zoidberg's always sounding so upbeat.

Any site on which you can upload the sound files to an account will do. There's a ton of free servers out there, and Geocities is not always the best   :)

Some new quick works, based on some Quitting Lines from the 'Fryscape' Futurama Game:
Nixon Quitline
Zapp Quitline
Zoidberg Quitline 1
Zoidberg Quitline 2
I promise with my next post I'll have some different characters rather than just more of the same.  :)

Maybe if you made it a bit more Marvin-the-MArtian-esque...

I can do a great Zoidberg.  If I can get a sample of me doing him, i'll put it up.  Maybe his soliloquy from the end of the valentine's Episode...

I cant see why everyone has such an issue with hosting

1. Get some webspace*
2. Upload sound file to webspace
3. Link sound file on post like you would anyother URL

* if you dont know how to get webspace get googling, you AOL n00b

Argh!  I tried setting up a web page with geocities, and I can't figure out how to put a wav file on there!  How do I do it?  Or, would someone be kind enough to put the file up if I email it to them?  My time is very limited, as I can only get on during class time.

Ok, I've done one. I honestly think it's crap. But hey! YOU be the judge. But, please. Judge softly, for I bruise like a... thing that bruises when you look at it. It's horrible, really. The bruising thing, not my voices. (I think?)

By the way, that last giggle is SUPPOSED to be Fry. Oops.

You had the Leela inflection for part of it, but other than that every voice sounded the same, pretty funny but probably for all the wrong reasons

As a response to the last few quotes that m0le posted a while ago, the Zoidberg is sounding better and better, it just needs to be a bit lower. Have you tried digitally editing it to make it sound lower?

Quotes? Waah?
Unfortunately, I have absolutely no knowledge when it comes to digitally editing anything, much less the voice. I just use the basic recording tool on my PC, and to my knowledge, it doesn't come with any major editing tools. Know any?

google for Audacity or Cooledit. Audacity is open source and I believe its still on sourceforge, and cooledit (pro?) is a commercial piece of software but there used to be trial versions getting around.

However I would recommend against digitally modifying any recordings that you want to use, they generally move the whole octive range down making it sound wholly unnatural.
