Do what you gotta do. Like I said, no rush.
And I think it's short enought to not take up huge amouts of space, and generic enough that anybody else here will be able to use it, if they like.
Maybe I'll be able to return the favor somehow some day.
Thanx mightily!

Thank Ye kindly, Grim!
That's absolutly awesome-a-tized!
And using "greetings" instead of "hello" was a stroke of brilliance and is why you are the Zapp master and not I. Totally apropos!

LOL these are great!
I can't really do any of the voices on from futurama.
I aways thought that I could do a good Zapp and Beezlebot impression. (For a girl of 14) but I recorded myself the other day and relised they were pretty crummy.
I can do alot of Zoidberg noises. I have that throat thing that Billy has when you make you vocal cords make a strange rattling and rumbling sound.
And I can do a crummy impression of Billy's oringinal elf voice,
"Greetings Space masters! We made lots of toys, don't kill us!"

Grim's answering machine message has been going over big time with our callers.
They love it even if the don't recognize it, but there are plenty who do.
Some of them leave messages for Zapp!

The only one I'm really good at is the Extreme Soda Pop Guy. "Sparguul! You're firrrred." I find it extremely fun just to talk like that sometimes. Is that a John Dimaggio, by the way? Teriffic voice, it should have been given to a more frequently recurring character. Ah well, if I ever get the technology, I'll put it up here for the pleasure of you wonderful people.

Or, right click the links and copy the shortcut into your URL bar.  It seems to be a hotlinking issue.

Both impressions are good Lamp, especially Nibbler, which was almost frightening.

Well, Most of the links I clicked turned out to be DNS errors, but the ones I did hear of Grim were pretty good. Couldn't hear Futurama characters though.

Anyways, here is a crazy idea. Why not use your impression talent to actually do something? We're making a fan game and, although its a far-fetched idea, voicing it would be quite cool!

Anybody interested?

I'm certainly interested Idan, but recently my internet's been cut off at home and it could be quite a while until it's back up so I could load them up here. Also I need to have the house completely free of people and that doesn't happen often. It'd be good practice for me for when I get out of high school and university.

I could help you out I guess, I'd much rather voice any original characters you have, as I'm trying to build up a pile of work in this, I aspire to make a job out of it. But if Zap and Kif are featured I'll lend my voice to them, also perhaps anywhere else my service are necessary.

I'd rather you contacted me regarding this, either here or on msn (grim31493721@hotmail.com)

I have two very limited impressions.  I can do a dead on Hank Hill saying, "Boy, I tell you what!"  And if you're familiar with your old school Ren and Stimpy, I can do the guy from the Happy Happy Joy Joy song saying, "I'll teach your grandmother to suck eggs!"

Very good book.

I've read it, but I believe you mean "My Life as a Ten Year-Old Boy". Yes, good book, indeed.

Oh yeah, and Grim and TheLampIncident, well-done. TLI, your Enos was amazing--as was your Nibbler. Grim, all your stuff was great as well. You two are easily the most talented of the impersonators on this board (no offense to anyone else).

Anyway, I can actually do a half-decent impression of Roberto (well, considering I'm a girl), and I can do the Professor somewhat. I'll get both of them up sooner or later.

I've just sent some of my voice attempts to Idan_Aharoni as I've been unable to find a good sound hoster using a library computer, so if you feel like it you can post my voices Idan.

I have come to the sad conclusion after many a session behind a soundproof[hopefully] door that the only voices I can impersonate perfectly are those of Fluffy and Uranus from Duckman.
:sob!:
My dreams of voice acting are dashed. On to my other dreams..

I've finally found a way to host sound, so here is a small sample.
1: My attempt of the Baby Crying noises made by Zoidberg in KGNUAN.
5: My version of one of Grim's first Zapp/Kif clips.
1. Baby Crying
2. Humourbot
3. Loser from 'Cyberhouse Rules'
4. Roberto
5. Zapp and Kif
Feedback is appreciated!  :)

Those were ok, your vocal range is a bit lacking, were you whispering these into the mic? but if you are in house full of people they might think you mad for yelling that sort of stuff at your computer.

Personally I have to work myself up into a session of voice recording, warming up my vocal range, best results I find are when you are projecting your voice, not whispering

There are a few things I do to warm up my voice / vocal range.
1. Tuvan throat noises
2. Singing anything by Frankie Vallie and the four seasons
3. Avoid dairy products before recording anything, as dairy will leave a residue in your throat.

Follow these tips and anyone can get (more) awesome sounding... sounds from a record.

(the baby crying was pretty awesome tho   :D )

Actually, I was half-whispering #2, #3 and #4 into the mike as I thought people were home. The Crying Baby noise and Zapp/Kif I did were at a pretty loud range as I was sure nobody was home.
I also try not to eat anything within an hour at least of recording as it can get stuck in my mouth and make it sound different.
I've got a few more as well but I didn't want to push the Geocities account. I'll put them up later.  :)

My Kif voice is coming along! My actual speaking is pretty good, but I can do a dead on groan. Also, I can make those sputtering noises he makes when he tries to talk to Amy in 3O1. I'll think I'll be able to find a way to put it up soon, so stay tuned.

That, plus the Extreme Soda Pop Guy, makes a grand total of five voices I can imitate. Add it to the Comic Book Guy and Charles Brosnan-esque salesman in the Simpsons, and that malformed orc in Return of the King who leads the assault on Minas Tirith.
