I actually made this one by posing models in 3DS Max and referencing that, so it's the perspective doing that.

Plus Ellie's height in the game is up to Joel's shoulders so she really isn't that much smaller.

Holy dustbunnies, it's a Freako pic that's not disturbing pornography! I like the expression of concentration. Like she's taking aim at a tiny target with that oversized improvised weapon. Somewhat anime-ish.

It'll be interesting to see it in colour.

Nice drawing... it has a very dynamic look to it!  Just an observation, though: moving her left hand down toward the butt of the bat to the point where there's little or no hand overlap might better portray a natural grip on the weapon, even if she's left-handed.  If the bat were double the current thickness, a completely overlapping grip might be more natural.

Therefore you wear jean shorts until evidence comes along to suggest that you don't - in which case your wearing of jean shorts will be disputed in the scientific community until everybody forgets that you wear them.
