Hey everyone
I have been a lurker here since 2008, and never had enough confidence to post my art.. I'm really nervous, since it's my first post here, but there always has to be a first, right?
So, there. A fan art of Fry I finished yesteday. More will follow.

Never have you said anything more relevant. It's good, but at the same time it's such a departure from the Groening form that it's a little shocking.

Aww, thanks for all the replies, I didn't expect such positive reaction I come bearing more! A drawing of Leela which I managed to sketch and colour in one evening. I suppose I didn't really do her justice, though...

You're doing Leela justice alright.
Beautiful. Also, this is one of the few times where I've seen an eyebrowed Leela look good. For some reason, it generally looks strange.

Even though it is a tad shocking to see at first (seeing them drawn in a different style), I have to say I really end up liking it.  Nice work!

There are a few artists whose interpretation of Leela put me off at first, but I've really warmed to some of them.

Whomever you would like.  However, if you are looking for someone else to choose, my nomination would be for Bender.  Though I really wouldn't mind seeing you draw Zoidberg either.

Yeah, looks really good.
The different hairstyle and frontal view create a completely different Leela (meant in a positive way).
Somehow, I also had to think of the "Starbabe" sign in "Rebirth"

Thanks everyone! I either scan my sketches or sketch in Photoshop, and then colour in Illustrator with pen tool. It's a bit time-consuming, but I like the cleaniness

Aaand..I'm back. Tried to draw Bender, failed miserably, tried again and, yet again, failed. I suppose I'll have to postpone that, but I'm not giving up Though I still come bearing a new drawing. I was lazy and did Amy, since humans are more..familiar to me, so to say

I don't like how her hair came out..

Sorry I just a little nit-pick though.. The space between her nose and eyes seem to be too far apart..
But hey I can't do nearly as good as that!

One thing how how could her make look more Amy wise:
Remove some of the lower curls (or make them much shorter) and add 1-2 curls more above. That way, you will get closer to the typical "broadest on the top" Amy hairstyle.

Cute, but I wouldn't recognise that girl as Amy. Perhaps if you change the skin tone to more golden and give her black hair. Maybe even narrow her eyes a little.

Very nice interpretation of Amy, Vika.  I can "see" the implied bridge of her nose so the spacing looks OK, at least to me.  I like it as is, and you have two fine artists giving tips, too.  Way to go!

Holy molly, that is LOVELY! I love her hair and eyes. I've been lurking here when I was ten... I came back to this site and I was like, "WOAH!" Now I'm fourteen, HA HA. I'm a grandma.

Hello everyone, I'm back! :3 As if anyone remembers me... Feeling kind of guilty about bumping the thread from the dead, but hey, at least I come bearing stuff!
Having been experimenting with new painting styles for some time now, I decided to redo, or, rather, repaint my Futurama fan arts. I've only done Fry for now, but, to be completely honest, I don't really like how it looks (especially the teeth and hair, oh my; and why did I think adding freckles was a good idea). But I'm going to post in anyway (it's the same drawing I posted in the original post) so could you please tell me which version you like more? :3
