I live 35 miles from where Jon Benet Ramsey was murdered.  Boulder has that "Tiaras For Tykes" Beauty Contests at the fucking Pearl Street Mall.  I'm not an expert on this subject but I have dealt with people who are.  Any parent who gets some sort of sense of self-worth when their kid wins something (football game, cheerleading squad, Honor Roll, etc) and "reward" that child with "love" can go the opposite way and treat the kid like shit when they're not "winning" (one reason that Charlie Sheen is a horrible parent).

So, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at any sort of cruelty that humans can dream up.

Do you know what annoys me the most?  It's pretty obvious that the parents who do this to their children, are probably the ones who have the most rabid "PEDO HUNTS" and "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" (you've seen the types.  Monkey Dust does a fantastic send up of them "BY THE POWERS INVESTED IN ME BY A TEXT IN VOTE ON SKY NEWS I FIND YOU GUILTY OF PEDOPHILIA!"  Or are the ones who are the most vocal against gay marriage "because it will corrupt our children!" Or are the most militant about "family values."  (I'm just judging from the ones I've seen on TandT, who are pretty much all white trash with many a bible basher among them.)

Yet here they are turning their eight year old daughters into midget prostitutes, so they can complete with other midget prostitutes about whose the most sexually appealing midget prostitute.  Kids should be EATING chocolate, not wearing it as a facepack.

Thanks for sharing sketches and works in progress.  I wish more artists did so, but I can understand the reluctance.  Which part of the Leela sketch took the longest?  I imagine that you have the hair down so pat by now that you could draw it behind your back.

Anyway I think your art is pretty fantastic Freako.   The tentacle bit kind of turns my stomach but the banjo picture is pretty cool.    And I can appreciate how well drawn the tentacle picture is.   Even so...
