hi Fan !

i was having some free time and i was wondering, how may look like the dvd of the new season ?? so i take my time and photoshop to make this:



so tell me, what do you think of that? if you have any idea on how to make it better too

also if someone could give me this pic of Fry in a highest quality, i would like it, thx

(this was made with the french dvd so dont ask) (its not finish though)

Yes, 20th Century Fox is still producing it, it's just being broadcast on Comedy Central instead of FOX now. This explains why it still has the 30th Century Fox logo at the end of the new episodes.

I'd feel pretty cheated if the season 6 DVD art was just a bunch of promotional images poorly cut and pasted onto a white background as opposed to the original artwork they've given us for seasons 1-4 and the movies.

It looks like a fridge with a bunch of Futurama magnets stuck all over it.

It's a nice idea, but some of the cut and pasting is pretty poor. You need higher quality source images, pluche.

Yeah, the spaceship and V-GINY are obviously edited out of another picture, but other then that it looks quite like a real DVD cover.

that's not seymour that's the dog on the third world of the antares system that loose is tail . i may just put fry a little bit lower so he fit with the 2 robots

If you ask for comments you will receive comments. People are nice, they just reply constructively since that's what you asked for. If this was finished I'd call you extremely sucky instead of saying that it's nice but need some more work.

Yeah Aki, I know  i'm just not wanting people to think its finish because I didn't update it for a while( i'm kinda busy at school right now) and I also want to know what you people think I should modify or ameliorate, this is my first fan-art ever. I'm also making this for all the fan not really for me    so if someone got REBIRTH in HD maybe you can take a frame of Fry for me, please

For pluche: You have to realize that posting fan art in a forum with experienced fan artists might not lead to the results you expected. No one will love and appreciate your work like you do (not just fan art but art in general) - I have been in that situatio before. You must also realize that by posting your work you were asking for our feedback, positive or negative, and that you shouldnt feel the need to defend your work by saying its not done yet and your busy when people start critiquing it negatively. You asked for their opinion and they are giving it - HOWEVER i dont feel that you should feel the need to solely please others with your work (again artwork in general). Be proud of your work - and if others dont agree with it thats their problem not yours. Try not to get so hung up on the technical feedback youre receiving - yes the name of the show should read top to bottom on the spine and the logos should be right but dont feel that as something you need to defend - instead take the opportunity to fix the little technicalities and make it more true to form as a dvd cover in that sense. That being said, I love it. I could definitely see it being sold on the shelves and with you being busy with what I assume is high school based on your username I know this took a lot of time and dedication on your part. See to the experienced fan artists, your predecessors, it may seem like a just a cut and paste job in photoshop but you know better - you took the time and effort into doing it. I graduated uni two years ago, have photoshop on my laptop, took photoshop in college, but I still did not take the time to do what you did. To everyone else I say lets cut em some slack, let em be proud of what they did as a beginner fan artist because I sure enjoyed it.  As a sidenote: I dont know if this post said everythingi wanted to say but its 3 am and my two earlier post attempts got deleted twice but hopefully this was helpful to you pluche because believe me ive been there. Keep at it I say.

hahah i just saw from your profile that youre not in fact i n high school (i hope not i dont know how canada works haha) and youre not female (i alwayd assume female avatar = female poster even though my avatar is male and i myself am female). It's not that I want to defend it but my base was taken in the french cover and dont ask me why but the logo is in this side instead of the normal one... that's pretty strange

btw I would like to see what fan art you made

edit: in fact I'm in what we call here cégep or collegue I dont know which name it have in the US...
