Hey Ho,
the worldfamous HOMIES and myself thought of a new futurama flash game, and came up with a racing game. The first prototype can be played here:
 http://www.futurama-area.de/f-racing.swf

What we need now is a little help, because we have no ideas how exactly the racing should be done. So if you have any suggestions for the game, please tell them. We can also need help with other things like cardesigns, framegrabs, trackdesigns, flash and so on.

Thanks
Bofr@ and Homies

Excellent idea!
Before I play, can you choose any charecter  like any other flash games?
like Fry or Bender.

It would be nicer if there was noise as well. if you could work that out. Well done, but does get a tad repetitive in race mode. Maybe different obstacles. And yeah I agree with Cap.JackSaprrow, maybe being able to choose your character woudl add to this game. It's a great start!

Well the problem is that we still don't now how the racing should be done, that means,
-how big the cars appear during racing
-how many enemys there are gonna be
-If you just have to go up and down
-If you have to avoid obstacles
-If there are gonna be powerups/weapons
-How you gonna get new cars
-If there are gonna be racing teams like
Team Planet Express/ Team Mom / Team Omicron / Team Doop ...
-If theres gonna be a career mode
-If there will be gears which you'll have to shift
or just an acceleration button
- how the cars setting are gonna be
-and even more

So if we cleared most of the questions,
we can go on producing the game,
untill now we just grab frames and test
modifications =)

so, please tell us your opinions,
Greetings
TinnyTim

nice start.  There are some really big bugs in the graphics that need to be fixed (for example, the background jumps around every few seconds), and it could use some sound effects.  Once you get that stuff ironed out this could be really fun.

It's a pretty fun game so far, with a little bit of work it could be kick ass

Whenever I'm not so busy, I'm going to download this game.  Looks really cool!  I liked Borf's ideas for the game as well.

The race ought to be the Neptune 5000 or something like that.

I thought of one, locations!
Not just the canyon all the time.
How about like New New York, Mars, New New York Underground etc.
