great job. i wish i could draw... the only thing i csn say besides great job is zoidbergs head is a little flat

It says in the title, Paint! It's amazing how someone can do that with just paint.

That's the way the scan was anyways. Thank you    that one tool as I call it "the turkey baster" copies colors and I move the thing around until I find the best shade. After, I hand-color everything in and trace over it, which is hard because I've got a small mousepad and a rolling mouse, not a laptop one.

Edit: I did have to constantly edit-undo mistakes though...So what you see I didn't necisarily do the first few tries

I like the Zoidberg one the best, that's classic Zoidberg. But can I play the devil's advocate here? I never knew what scanart was until I started poking my head around Futurama sites. What's the point? Just seems like a lot of work.

 :)Well, Iunno... I do it because I love drawing, and it gives me something to do when I'm bored to be honest. Especially on Sundays.. Thanks for the compliment too        I think it'll help me draw better free-handed on paint or any program instead of old-fashion paper and pencil routine.

I saw your art on another thread and for using in paint, i applaude, better when i tried with paint, takes too long. Black and white for me

  Yes I think it was yours Worble, that I posted it on..cropping...cropping....  maybe...but do ya mean around edges or what? I know, I'm not a genius...

    I find the word "farmer" offensive... (Kidding    ) I've got another of Zoidberg that I did WAY to big, so if ya'll want to use it as a background of some sort, go ahead.  It's Zoidberg, casual.

Thanks Commie for all the support *goes and hugs you* and as I said, you can make it a background if it fits your screen, or downsize if ya need to. It'll probably fix 1000+ sized ones

That's really good.I might use is for a background or print it out and put it in my picture book of Futurama,I need a good Zoidburg.

  oh and sorry about his right arm (your left) not having a line all the way down... I had the picture too far over and I was blindly drawing and coloring in.. It'd be funny if I put a clarinet in Zoidberg's hards eh? Or, you could do both Benders_Fan!

So so sorry about this double post ya'll anyways, here's Leela freehanded on paint.  first Leela on paint... I think.  I can't believe this picture actually shows more emotion than that of my pencil/paper ones..

It's ok, and I noticed the Zoidbergs were two totally different colors from the way they got frame grabbed. I understand. I'm a Fry perfectionist. Gotta draw it perfect or it sucks er...wangs

They're good scans (especially Depressed Zoidy) considering how horrible MS paint is with a wheel mouse. I used the same process when first starting out and it was really frustrating.

Have you got a scanner? Copying framegrabs out in pencil is a great way to learn how to draw the various characters. Keep at it!

Ok, I'll try Bender. I can do that later on It'll probably be done by Sunday night, though I may be so distracted by my hip and sexy DVD boxed sets, I get it done on Monday. I dunno if anyone noticed, but my Fry picture has an error, his nose. I noticed after I uploaded (and deleted the picture from my computer)

  I was trying to draw my avatar, when the hair crapped out on me, and so I erased it and drew it like it usually is, and forgot to re-do the nose
