Last night, I'm sorry, I laughed (more like a Krabopple "HAH" ) only once. When spike tells buffy 'nobody will find the body' and you hear the police behind them say "we found the body half a mile down the river from the cemetary" hehe. The rest... well... Pretty alright watching, but where's the humour gone? Where's the wit and tactless remarks? Buffy is in deep confusion about her feelings for Spike which is interesting to see develop. Unfortunately the stories move way too slowly now cuz everything is being concentrated on the Triad (or whatever their name is - Buffy's Arch Nemesissisissis). Hardly anything from Anya and Xander in weeks, similarly Willow and Tara and Dawn - Dawn who is just pissed off all the time and giving guilt trips. I've almost forgotten why she's pissed off with Buffy cuz it's taken so long for the story to move along. I'm just annoyed with that... More stuff needs to happen like it used to - are different writers being used for these episodes? Is that where the lack of substance is coming from?? I just need something to blame... I like the fact Buffy has to work in a shitty job. Sorta brings the show some reality when teens are stuck for money, fast food rears it's ugly head. I'm concerned about the Spike having a soul thing that I had read earlier here. Does that mean he won't be able to "do" buffy anymore? Like Angel? Why do they even give him a soul - or will I jsut find out eventually... I was just doing some thinkign about it during last night's ep cuz Buff was bashing him up saying how he has no soul yadda yadda yadda he's dead bla bla bla talky talky boringness... The ep was alright cept for the lack of everything. Average 5/10 rating. Am I going to be continually disappointed this season? I really really miss the old style show.

what Ninaka said mostly sums up my thoughts on the show...except about the Buffy working at Doublemeat Palace IT'S JUST RETARDED DoubleMeat Palace is a craphole which she hates working at WHY DOESN'T SHE WORK AT THE MAGIC SHOP?? WHY DOESEN'T THE WATCHERS COUNCIL PAY HER FOR HER SLAYER DUTIES?? anyhoo, i enjoyed Anya and Xander's TWO WORDS IN THE SHOW GODDAMN IT remember the days when Xander used to say more than two words? and when the show was funny? when Spike said he "took care of" the body, i thought he was implying that he ate it...hehe Ninaka, about the Spike thing: i think he was actually turned into a human, because that would make more sense. but if he is a vampire with a soul, he isn't cursed with a soul like Angel, so he would still be able to do Buffy =D well overall the episode was still better than last weeks "DoubleMeat WORST EVER Palace", which was the worst ever, but it still wasn't very good. BRING BACK GILES LET XANDER AND ANYA DO SOMETHING MAKE DAWN STOP WHINING STOP HAVING BUFFY SCREW THAT MASS-MURDERER thank you, goodnight

There wasn't an ep last week cuz of the Tennis... lol TSN nice input at the end And Ohhh I see about the Spike thing. Thankyou! I"m just over the whole thing. It's not as exciting as it used to be. Man, and I hate bashing and whining about the show! It's so not my style... But what is going on with the show? The only asskicking that goes on is two minutes long or involves Spike which turns into a sexfest. What a bunch of maniacs - oh well, at least someone is getting some! And I guess it's new cuz something like this has never really been done on the show. True, I dunno why Buffy doesn't work at the Magic Box... Maybe Anya doesn't wanna hire her She did give it a try once in a past episode I think, but she wasn't very good at it.

About Buffy and Spike: Just my thoughts according to the interview that Kryten mocked with Marti Noxon Some of the fans want Buffy and Spike together. Does that surprise you? Sometimes, things don't go the way we intend. It seemed very obvious to us that the Buffy-Spike relationship couldn't work in the long run, so now we need to reiterate why. We need to get in there and show people the difference between loving someone who is good to be around and loving someone who is good.
I think people have forgotten the Spike of two seasons ago. I mean, he tried to kill Willow! Can you really see Spike and Buffy in a condo deciding what they should watch on TV that night? That's not our thesis. What we want to show is an independent heroine who is not defined by her relationships.
Anyway, my guess due to this is that the soul thing will have the same rule. How can we even be sure he'll be a good guy with a soul? Having a soul doesn't automatically mean you're a good person. Anyway, this isn't a new interview, it was done in March. So only time will tell.

Oh joy! Buffy has improved to include all of it's main characters and not just two doing it like rabbits. I liked last nights episode especially in consideration to the past couple weeks of crappiness. Finally Dawn's stealing got found out; Willow and Tara seem to be moving on or at least growing; it's also good to see more of Anya and Xander; and the Buffy/Spike thing is slowly becoming exposed. With Tara's nice interception hehe. "how're those cramps? Maybe you should put some ice on it" heheh. Smooth. Nobody explained why that monster came back from when Buffy said she killed it 'two nights ago', and why it showed itself at the spell. Heh and Clem made another social appearance. How cute. "and I really don't think that's a skin condition!" Smart, buddy. I'm just happy to see more of everyone again (except missing the Trio Dork Troupe in the ep) so it gets a pretty high rating of 8/10.

"Older and Farther Away" was the first episode i've enjoyed since "Smashed". It wasn't great, but each character had enough screen time each, and it was fun enough for me to like it. I loved Tara in this episode, she was just so cool, and now i'm going to miss her even more when she goes =(. Clem was pretty funny too, but really what was the point of the coworker of Buffy's being there? She didn't do anything. The way they figured out that it was the vengeance demon's spell was way too easy, it was just like "I spoke to a guidance counciller", "Oh, she must have done a spell". I liked the way the subtlely hinted that Halfrek is Cecily =D. my fanboy sense is tingling. i wish more would happen between her and Spike, but unfortunately it won't. Originally posted by Ninaka: Nobody explained why that monster came back from when Buffy said she killed it 'two nights ago', and why it showed itself at the spell. I think it was because Tara was doing a reveal spell or something like that, can't remember exactly. and when she did it she revealed the wrong thing (the demon).

Cor blimey guv! The series finalé of Angel was the best thing on TV so far this year. Comlpete run down for the interested:- Holst (Holts?) gets his minion to kill him so that it looks like a vampire attack, his minion hangs around to tell Connor/Steven that it was Angel wot did it. Cordy realises (finaly) that she is in love with Angel (with a little help from Gru, who leaves) and Lauren tells Angel that Cordy feels the the same for him as he does for her. They arrange to meet to have it out. On the way the powers-that-be arrange for Cordy to ascend to a higher being (there and then, before she sees Angel). Connor/Steven turns up at the meeting point an beats Angel into submission. With the help of Holst's minion, Connor/Steven drags Angel onto a fishing boat and weld him into a metal box and dump him overboard. Lauren left for Vegas early on in the episode. Wesley slept with Darla. All of this leaves Gun and Fred wondering where everyone is. Bang! End of series. More twists and turns than the entrails of a twisted chipmunk. I mean WOW! This kept me guessing right up until the end. Buffy on the other hand was rather predictable. My friends and I had the entire plot sown up about a third of the way through the series and saw every detail comming way before it even got to the horizon.
