My God. Did you see Christine Anu. that was terrible, she looked like a smack addict. Bit dissapointed by Syd NYE overall, but was alright, walking around for 3 hours was alright, even though i didn't end up getting to Blues point, and ended up watching it on TV at a friends. Still Happy New Year All!!! (thought i'd use capitals for that whole sentence)

The remix national anthem was a disgrace. Not in any patriotic way, it just sucked.

I had no problem with the fact that they were doing the remix... until I actually heard it. It followed no tune, and just sounded like shit. Whoever approved that song wasn't just unaustralian, they were a fucking moron.  :p

Arrested Development's not on this week either.  :(

I think they've taken a few things off for sport this week, hopefully they'll come back soon.

Ditto.
Still, i still got a laugh from Howard listening to it.

Has anyone seen that New maccas ad about pool safety? Is it just me or does ronald have a problem with lip-sync?

I haven't been keeping up with the TV scene recently, are any of the following on Free-to-air at the moment?
Red dwarf, Futurama, Family Guy.

Also, when's Rove coming back?

Don't know, don't care. Probably in February, when EVERY show comes back.

Channel 7 haven't aired Futurama since April/May-ish. They were airing Family Guy in December, but stopped once the season was finished, so they're now up-to-date with Family Guy.

I recommend Jeopardy on ABC. (No, not that Jeopardy. It's a Scotish/Australian cross show. Primo entertainment, I saw the first season a few years ago) Great if you like Scots in the outback getting scared and falling unconscious.
On a lighter note, has anybody seen that ad for the Aussie Queer Eye thing? I've never really liked the show, but I recommend everyone watch the ad just for the little girl's face and noise she makes. Hilarious.

SBS is showing 'Battlefield Britain' on Saturday night. I've downloaded a few episodes of it, and it's great. So I'm stoked. AND after it is Iron Chef - Strawberry Battle! STRAWBERRIES!

I think it being Australian will hit a little too close to home for the great unwashed, inherently homophobic, suburbanite Aussie commercial TV viewer.

I give it four weeks.

Wow, the Strawberry battle was as awesome as I thought it would be. A woman challenger! If you are in another time zone other than this one, watch the damn thing!

Though I do have it on tape. When I get my TV capture card, you can all have it!

Battlefield Britain was also great. Very well made. 7 more episodes to go.

Channel 10 are fucking idiots... they moved The Simpsons to 7:00pm, which is great, since that means they can hopefully show the PG episodes in regular rotation now. Or so you'd think... I was watching it last night, and they're STILL censoring it down to a G rating!!! They cut the last joke out of the Hellfish episode where the German guy things Grampa and Bart are gay. WHY bother showing it at 7:00pm if you're going to censor it anyway? Even worse is they do those crappy intros they did for The All-Time Greatest Simpsons. ARAGRARGHHHHH!!!

Who's in charge of Channel 10? I want to fly to his house and personally bash in his skull in with a golf club. Same with Channel 7 too for never being able to keep an American show in the same timeslot for more than a few weeks...

The only hope we have to ever see the originals again are the DVDs, it seems.

So, did anyone catch the premier of "LOST"?
Well I did, and i have to say, I like it.

2 things sprang to mind when I saw it.

No.1 Did they land on the Island where Peter Jackson is filming KING KONG!
No.2 Did they land on the Island where the 3 surviving charicters from "Deep Riseing" landed at the end of the movie!

But, it looks like I will quite enjoy this show. I always love movies or shows when people get stranded on islands and there's some kind of monster on it aswell.

And STARGATES back aswell, yaaaay.

it also has an encore on Saturday night.

i loved the way the engine was still spinning, just the sound and the images, it was awsome. and i thought it funny that the spend about 6 seconds on the guy getting sucked into the engine and the subsequent explosions, yet they spent 2 minutes on them climbing up the the cockpit o the plane.

also

Well thats what i heard.

also

and finally. What the fuck is with that Fucking labrodore???

Luckely there was some good news on the channel, "The Glass House" will be returning, at the all new time of 9:30 Wednesday, thats right Tommorow.

Well i am off to watch my stories.....
