Since the untimely resurrection of my 'shows you can no longer stand to watch' thread, now I decided to try the opposite : What do you love to watch, despite most people you know saying it's a pile of crap?

I love Quads and nobody else does. And The Late Show with David Letterman, nobody likes it here. It's on at midnight or later.

Recent Simpsons eps

I think they're funny!

[Homer]I dance, I dance, I dance, around the mexican hat! I dance, I dance, I dance, and that's the end of that. Or is it I think I'll keep singing, my cell phone appears to be ringing! [/Homer]   :laff:    :laff:

I like the new simpsons better than the old simpsons (I have kind of a manic sense of humour). I apologise to everyone for admitting it.

I have an affection for X-Men Evolution. My geek clique are dead set against it, beating me with the comics and old VHS copies of the original series.

I think I just really like the theme music.

I liked TV Funhouse ,even though it was slightly over the top and went out of it's way to be offensive. I also like G4's Portal but lots of people complain about the voice acting and the sometimes cheesy plots...and Dave's acting.

Who doesn't like it? I suppose it's a bit wry for those who like their humour more obvious, but I think it's the best comedy Channel 4 have done since Father Ted.

This is changing it slightly, but a lot of people I talk to (generally about my age, maybe a bit younger) have never even heard of Seinfeld.

I weep for them, I really do.

So do I. Although I recognise that TNG and DS9 are superior shows, Voyager still holds a place in my heart because it's the first ST show I watched. Of course, this makes me even more critical of it when it takes a direction I wasn't too fond of (i.e. after S4).

Friends is another show that I felt was at it's best before it took a writing turn (strangely enough, Friends and Voyager started in the same year, and both became less enjoyable for me in their 5th seasons. I dunno, maybe 1999 was just a bad year for TV).

I also have a small fondness for DBZ/GT

  ;)

I also enjoy "Enterprise", but I wish they'd stop being so obvious in their writing decisions. The "decontamination chamber" is a case in point, and I hope they just let the show move naturally and bring in some more outside talent.

This is going to be a long long list...
Friends
Cold Feet
Coronation Street
Neighbours
The Old Bill (which incidentally went crappy round about 1999 too)
Top Gear
Infact hell, just about everything I watch on TV is considered a pile of poo by my "friends". But as you've probably guessed by the quotation marks, they're a bunch of close minded idiots. And that why I love here.
