Time marches on :-/ At some point in life, you wonder which of the icons you admire will show up in an obituary, and which might outlive you...I'm putting my money on Keith Richards.

A little late, but:
R.I.P. Sir Clive Sinclair. I never owned one of his computers, but they were everywhere back in the day.

They were indeed; I had a ZX Spectrum in the early eighties. It had 16 kb of RAM which I later increased to 48kb.

That one was quite a shock; I used to watch The Monkees on TV as a child ☹️

I don't usually get too bummed when celebrities die—and she lived such a long, good life that this hardly counts as a tragedy—but I'll admit to feeling a bit teary over the death of Betty White. I have a soft spot for The Golden Girls (in fact, I was gifted this set of Golden Girls Tiki mugs just last week for Christmas!) and will probably treat myself to a mini marathon of the show some time in the coming days here. What a great lady, and what a huge "fuck you" from 2021 on its way out the door.

A few days late but: R.I.P. Vangelis. I like electronic music, and some of his tracks are among my favourites. He also had an interest in space exploration, which influenced some of his projects, such as the soundtrack for Cosmos.
