So, she's finally gone. I'm sad. And also, they totally missed out on a Brenden Fraser cameo in this ep! Although, I'll settle for Nicole Sullivan. I love her! Yeah! Jennifer Dylan!!!!! 4ever J.D.

::takes one of BirthdayClowns man-cards:: So, I take this new development put a slight dent in my plan to bring Sean back? Man, we were so close only 3 episodes back! Good episode (they totally stole the Mermaid joke from "The Deep South" !), a few quotes that I still remember: "Yeah, that's a gill..." "Placing second in the doctor Reed-thon".. "Oh, please I'm nothing like Ross." "Ofcourse not, you're Rachel. She's Ross!" Coxinator: "Worth it!"

I actually thought that the season finales for The Office and Scrubs would have worked very well as series finales, if it had been the case. Both are returning next year, but I think that if they were canned, these episodes were good points to stop.
With Scrubs, the show's still funny and all, and there's still room for development, but not much. If Elliot gets married and JD decides to go back with Kim, then that cuts off any sort of Elliot/JD tension and half the show's plot dies. If she doesn't get married, JD doesn't go back with Kim, and they both get back together, then JD will have to do some explaining with his kid.
I'm not sure where the show can go from here. The end of the episode seemed like a perfect cut off point as it allows you to imagine what you want. I don't know what they could do next season though.
The Office finale was much better. The ending of the episode let so much open to be explained, but, if the show ended right there, it gave a "conclusion", much like The Devil's Hands did with Futurama that it left a lot open incase of renewal and a lot closed incase of it getting the axe. With The Office's finale, you don't know what's going to happen to Jim/Pam/Karen or Ryan. It leave so much open, but it implies that Jim and Pam are getting together. With Scrubs, the ending doesn't leave too much room for anything, mainly due to Kim still being pregnant. If that wasn't an issue, then anything could happen. That baby could ruin the next season, much like if Jim and Karen moved in with eachother in New York. It doesn't let any room for the Elliot/JD romantic-comedy subplot. I'm not too shippy, but in shows where one of the continuing storylines is even mildly romantic, that's a problem.

They've probably got the ending planned, and maybe they don't need more episodes?
I also read somewhere that in the last episode, we get to know the janitors name! Can't wait!
