I'm pretty sure you guys are further ahead than me on episodes, but how is that fish from last week doing? The one that could sing that wonderfully high note? (I know a fish who looks just like him!  )

yea neil flyn is his character name if you think about the fact that he was in that harison ford movie. which i think is pretty cool kind of like a breaking the forth wall thing. plus it also makes a weird back story for neil in real life.

^ Yeah, thats the technicality i'm talking about.

Jan Itor was in the fugitive, where he is credited as Neil Flynn.

Meh.  Even if they did tell us the janitor's name, it wouldn't mean anything.

Yeah, it was like when The Simpsons told us Comic Book Guy's real name. I mean....who cares? Every show needs a secret, keep it that way. Don't tell us what State the Simpsons live in, don't tell us where Fez is from. (Not that they will now that the show is over.)

What I meant was, if they told us his name, we'd have no way to know if it was his real name.  Like everything else we think we know about the Janitor, it might or might not be a lie.

Fuck Sean! I liked this episode more than most eps from last season, but it reminded me that they don't make Mars bars anymore.  :(

Still pretty far behind on this show... I've only seen one season. Thank science for Netflix, even though they STILL haven't sound a copy of that Stargate S7 disc... *grumble*

You wouldn't say that if you ever had a REAL Mars bar, ya filthy terrorist.

"Candy bars sold as the Mars Bar vary in different regions of the world. The American version (discontinued in 2002) is no longer sold anywhere, and has been replaced with the similar (but not identical) Snickers Almond."

I do actually, I prefer them savory though. Tamari Almonds FTW!

Also, RE: Americans being dirty dirty theives. Kath and Kim, a VERY aussie show has had the rights to a US version bought. (That sentence makes total sense)

It'll be strange.

I found this article recently on how people look up (/down/to the side/etc) when thinking.  Of course it made me think of Scrubs so I thought I'd post it - pretty interesting.

Yeah, people look to the right when they're remembering, and to the left when they're making up stories.  I've heard that before.

Does anyone else find it strange that they spent all of last season pairing off J.D. and Elliot with other people only to quickly undo both pairings this season?

Strange, yes. Pointless, absolutely. Surprising, no.

I feared this would happen after last seasons "cliffhanger", most likely because the writers feel they need to appease the shippers (though I still hope for a Molly/Sean gambit). If they felt having a kid was holding the character of JD back they obvious answer was not to introduce the pregnancy in the first place, seeing as it haven't really resulted in many jokes or funny plotlines.

wasn't surprised either, but i don't like so much how it's going either. i kind of wish- actually, i do wish- that they didn't make kim pregnant at all. i don't like her and am finding this season mediocre (although i did enjoy the latest episode, of which i can't even remember)

and there's a good chance the writers strike may prevent the show from having a series finale, which may wind up being a DVD exclusive

Serves JD and Elliot right for being so damned promiscuous.  Neither of them even care about relationships, they're both slutty slut whores.

Also, the American version of the Office is ok, what was real crap was the American version of Coupling.

One reason why Scrubs annoys me is all the sleeping around and dishonesty. JD needs to grow up, I mean every other season it's "I love her, I hate her, I love her, I hate her". And now that he has the little baby its really just fucked up.

It reminds me of That 70's Show and why it disappoints me too.

the difference between the season premiere and following episode really disturbed me, like when JD said "and that's why i'll stay with her the rest of my life" or something about kim, and then the next minute he breaks it off with her. they're just setting up the series finale when jd and elliot get together one last time, like carrie and mr. big of sex and the city (seriously, he came out of nowhere in those last episodes)

That will be the worst way to end the show.  JD should be alone forever, that's what he deserves.  Elliot should get a brain lobotomy, so she can stop being a slutbitch, and then the Janitor marries her.  This is because Elliot symbolizes all the things Janitor imagines would be in the person that compliments him as the other half; it isn't because Elliot is pretty either, it's because of the situations and events that surround her and him that lends itself to the perceptions of reality through the Janitor's eyes.

Come on, what d'you expect? This is an American sitcom, for christs sake. They don't have any other option than satisfying the Jelliot shippers. (I know, it's harsh, but that's the way it is :-()

If feel sad for poor Kelso, Ellioy just shouldn't have mucked around in that and all would have been fine but nope she had to muck about and see what it got. I hate Elliot so much she is such a slut bitch pig whore. I really hope that they don't end the series with Jelliot they tried that in the first 3 seasons adn they never had it work out so why have it work now?

From season 6 DVD Special feature easter egg

This is Bill Lawrence and one of the other writers telling this to camera

Bill Lawrence then goes onto say that 4 of those things are true. I've asterisked the ones we know so far (Keep in mind i haven't yet watched ep 6.)

Just watched 6.

With the Rateyourdoc.org (Real site, heh Dr Jan Itor is #1 at the moment) I'm confused by the todd's line "Oh, it's rate you doc, i'm on a different more awesome website." I first thought, haha Cock! But then turk keeps looking at the screen as though it's something better. Any ideas?

I actually thought it was "rateyourdong" - 'cause of the similar D-O words.

*realizes "cock" and "doc" both end with a K sound*

Okay, so it could be either.

-

Is the site one that's been around a while?  (Similar to RateYourProf, etc?)  Or was it made for this episode?  'Cause I remember going to a rating-doctors website last winter when I was trying to find a decent dentist around my university.
