I thought they also meant "shows that had ended" rather then just ones that were cancelled.  Black Books wasn't cancelled, but with three series with only six episodes, that's less then usually one series of an american sitcom.

I would enjoy a series of novels based on the show, but a return to televison is almost guaranteed to be a disappointment.

Yeah, I used to watch Mr. Butlertron's videos on YT until Viacom got to them... Sadly, no Region 2 DVD...
