The Wire Watching season 5 at the moment, only a few eps left Wow, what an anticlimactic way for Omar to go out. I spose it's realistic, but still, no real goodbye Even Boadie had a great final scene. Also, suck it reporter who keeps making up stuff, you're finally getting called on your bullshit! also, McNulty, you are in some seeeeerious shit. I hope it works out for you.

But enough nonsense, any fans of Nathan Fillion watching Castle? Seems like it might be good, I only caught a bit of an episode last night.
Nasty was watching it on the last page.

I think Two and a Half Men is the most loathsome show on television and I do not understand why my father insists on watching it.
And yet Chuck Lorre created it, and he also has The Big Bang Theory--a show that I find really funny--under his belt. So I don't know. I guess this is what people who like Futurama but hate The Simpsons think about Matt Groening.

Strange, Gorky (also yay Gorky, but let's keep my excitement at a civil level, wouldn't scare the young lady), that the same man should be behind Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory.
But that is just by the credits. Now, Gorky, there is this website called 'Wikipedia', which has some articles on both shows, and (much like I am trying to pull through on the Infosphere) they have production sections.
Oh, I'm sorry, only The Big Bang Theory has a production section. But that is actually more enough than an answer; I bet Two and a Half Men was a show that they had to get together quickly because the production company was screaming for something new and stupid and cheap and all around public they could do.
Like The Simpsons. When that was under way, Chuck Lorre had the good faith of the production companies to create a more... 'niche' show.
It's the strangest thing. But for writers, actors, whoever in the industry (the biz), you gotta sell out at times. Only way you can move forward. And earn money. And perhaps the notice of other producers and whatnot!

Speaking of smug assholes solving problems while trading barbs with a brunette love interest, Burn Notice is a pretty cool show. It's kind of like The A-Team with less welding and bullets that occasionally hit their intended targets. Bruce Campbell, said brunette love interest, is hilarious as usual.

I just realized how much I love "The Wire"
I actually sat through a Twilight movie just so that this girl will watch Season 1 with me. Compromise is a bitch.

We watch a lot of "true crime" shows at work. They're usually one of the only things on during the god-forsaken hours I'm working. I sometimes get angry at the criminals for making such stupid mistakes, like the guys who break windows from the inside to stage a burglary. It's like, "What the heck, dude? And you murdered someone? Idiot."

Oh man, anyone following the latest CSI season? Dr. Jekyll is an awesome badguy, they nearly caught him in the last episode, EEEEEEEE! Grissom had his nemeses (The Miniature Killer for example) and this is Langstons 1st one I suppose, but he killed a guy by drugging a him and putting radioactive seeds in his brain, making the guy go crazy and kill his neighbors and their dog. Nothing like a good serial killer.

I really need to start watching this. A lot of my friends here watch it and love it. Is it on par with past Nathan Fillion works?

I definitely enjoy it, good mix of drama and comedy (more of the latter though).

The Mentalist fucking sucks. It's like Psych without any of the humor or character chemistry and more smug douchebags wearing vests.

I'm watching old episodes of Hey Arnold!, courtesy of YouTube, and I am reminded of how it was the first cartoon I loved, y'know, obsessively. If I'd been a bit older when it was first on, I think I would've joined the Hey Arnold-equivalent of PEEL. It really is a great show (with, I think, a better sense of continuity and characterization than either Futurama or The Simpsons), and watching it now takes me back to the carefree days of my not-at-all-distant youth.

Hey Arnold, eh? I actually just recently downloaded the whole series on a torrent website and enjoyed it very much. That show really doesn't get enough credit.
Also, just finished watching all 3 seasons of Californication. I want David Duchovny's babies.
